Last year I went on my first anime con. I went to kumori-con. It was really fun. Im wondering if anyone else here have experience any anime con. I got to dress up as Sakura from Naruto and my boyfriend got to dress up as Rock Lee. Cosplayer that saw us together told us we cant be together because Sakura and Rock Lee can never be together. Im going to K-con again this year. Im still gonna dress up as Sakura and my boyfriend Rock Lee, but im also dressing up as Natsuki from My Hime on the second day of con. So question again, anyone else here been to a Anime Con?

Isn't Komoricon in Portland? I went to Sakuracon in Seattle last year, I plan to go again & possibly dress up like my Avatar Joesph Carter AKA Mr. Joker.

I probably never will.
Make sure you do Natsuki right.

If you have never been to an Anime Con, Comic book show, or even a Fantasy gaming con (like Dragoncon, or Gencon) you should at least check one out once. They are really fun, plus you see loads of people dressed up as their favorite characters.

I can't deal with stupid otaku and yaoi fangirls. And all announcements they make, I can get over the internet, so it's pointless other than to buy crappy american doujins, for me at least. I will go to YuriCon though.

The dealer rooms are the main attraction for me. They sometimes have stuff that is really hard to find, even on the internet. Plus you don't pay shipping & handling (I know you pay to get in the con). You also get room(s) with loads of Anime playing almost 24 hours a day.
