How many of you actually like Deidara? I for one can't stand the guy. I hate the way he dismisses art as something that is short and has no impact. In truth, art if truly looked at, is something that is moving and beautiful. Other than that, the guy seems like such an *******. I tend to prefer Sasori over Deidara for the fact that he has the completely opposite view of art. Also, in the manga: we find out that Sasori is just a sad "child" who didn't get enough love as a child. As a result he ends up helping out the heroes, and informs them of the spy he has in the ranks of Orochimaru.

Sasori may look utterly disgusting, but he truly is a great representation of those in the real world who never got a chance with their parents. Some of you may look at him as an "emo *****", I for one think he rox. Not only does he pwn, he'll mop the floor with Deidara. :downcast:

This has caused a lot of confusion, since both "he" and "she" were used to refer to Deidara in early English translations. However, Deidara speaks of himself using male pronouns and was initially given a very deep, male voice in the anime.
