i dunno why people downplay one piece but the show is hot! it mixes comedy,drama,action, and most importantly adventure pretty well. i like it also because of its outrageous characters. the fight scenes are hot and the bad guys are cool too. plus, as the show goes on, even more characters come along, and they hold surprises that keep u shocked and compelled to the show even more. the show doesnt dissappoint. give it a shot .....

I think it's a great show and it's my 3rd fave anime. The story is interesting, the characters are hilarious, and the action is intense.

@Fallen_Hero- My favorite arc is the Arlong Arc, 2nd favorite is Kuro Arc. It is a little slow at the start, but then it really starts to pick up. One of the best things is how the main characters interact, they're extremely funny.

The ony bad thing is that 4Kids dropped the American dub after episode 105, but I suppose you could still see it in Japanese. I was thinking of buying the Japanese DVDs myself

it's much better uncut. 4kids cut a lot of the best fights down to nearly zilch due to blood. it doesn't completely ruin the show, but if you're gonna watch it, i recomend watching the unedited version.

its still going on now. they probably dont have too much to go until its over ........ im in the middle of the Skypiea arc, and it is hot. episode 150 i think it starts. this arc ends like at 194 or somethin. keep watching alright

Well one piece has the record for most novels sold ever. Its currently the most popular among running anime in Japan and the story is fresh and doesnt look like it will be ending anytime soon.
