Dragonball z or Naruto?

What show do you think is better Dragonball z or Naruto? Personally i like dragonball z, it has a better story line, it has more action, and good use of powers and techniques ... but thats just me, what do you think?

I like naruto alot more. I really think the story is alot deeper then DBZ's. It just depends on how far into the series you are. Also because there is still more new things to come when it comes to naruto. I've already seen the whole DBZ series atleast twice.

DBZ is honestly repetitive. Fights end up with Goku killing the bad guy with with a spirit bomb.

Naruto has good use of techniques aswell. Unless you dont understand the whole hand-sign thing.

If there was a Piccolo saga, then DBZ would have a deeper story as Piccolo ends up having a lot of intrigue and also history unfolding with the various "other body" experiences.

Android Saga: Revenge of The Red Ribbon Army.

i like dbz alot better, not only is the fighting cooler to watch, but it also has some comedy incorporated into it at appropriate times. naruto is all work and no play by what ive seen. (and i havent seen alot)

I have only seen parts of Naruto, and most of DBZ.

I think they are pretty similar, cause they both feature a character who keeps fighting to get stronger.

IMO Neither of them are really that great. Especially since both of them are rather long & sometimes too drawn out. Especially the fights.

A really good example of this was in DBZ during the Frieza saga. When Goku & Frieza were fighting on Namek, they had 5 minutes till the planet explodes, and the fight takes at least 10 episodes!

I heard Naruto is even longer than DBZ. I don't really like really long & drawn out anime/manga. Mostly cause in the Anime version, they have to make filler episodes so that they can not pass the Manga version.

One of the fun things to do is to go around & say stuff like the announcer on DBZ. For example:

"Next Time on DRAGON BALL Z! Goku powers up to the next level! Yet again!"

I watch both, but I will surely have to choose Dragonball Z as my answer. I mean, sure. Naruto may have a more in-depth storyline with everyone fighting their own demons. However, my preferences for a good anime is a one that entertains me alot more and gets me into it alot more. Sometimes, I have to force myself really hard to watch or continue to watch a Naruto episode because it's so boring. However, I can't even take my eyes off of some DBZ episodes because of the storyline or the way better battles.

I think I'd go DBZ as well.... I wish dbz had more plot, but the basic idea of the underdog, in DBZ is just too classic.. If DBZ was in total 100 episodes, it'd probably be ranked much higher... instead they have a lot of fillers, and a lot of stare-down stuff that takes up time.. and also doesn't really develop any of the background of goku in terms of his relationship with his wife etc... his training of gohan.. If they did those two things it'd of been a great anime.. but instead they dragged it on to try and milk it for cash.. as does naruto.. and this is what hurts these animes.

PErsonally I think they should of made two animes, one where they condensed stuff and didn't draw it out in DBZ.. then have a T.V. series at the same time which stretches everything out... the only reason Kenshin is considered better than DBZ, is becasue there is less drawing out of things, and a little more social development of characters.. DBZ has a lot of cooler things than Kenshin. And naruto suffers from teh same problem.

Tough one! I'd say DBZ, it's the godfather of all fighting anime and I loved it ever since I was a little kid. Naruto's got a good story and deeper character development though. If I could, I'd choose both.
