I haven't seen a list of system requirements yet... Can you point me to the spot?

I am currently running

P4 3 GHZ
1 Gig PC 3200 RAM
PowerColor ATI X1600 512 MB
35 Gig Raptor HD
Raeltec Onboard sound

In the City with cars around... my frame rates dropped to 4....

Just curious as to what the box calls for?

The Beta at least ran great on my setup
I had the video @ 1280x1024 and low xAA, the rest of the details were highest, and it ran great

I ran the beta at a steady 75fps, AMD dual core 2.4ghz, 1gb DDR2, 7900GTX XXX edition with no overclocks. FSAA 4X and all the other goodies maxed. 1280x1024 res cuz thats the hiest my 19' 2ms LCD does.

i should be ok then i would think, my cpu is an Athlon X2 4400+ (dual 2.2ghz), my ram is 1gb PC333 DDR1 and my vid card a 7600GT 256mb EVGA

so it may not be as fast, but prolly 65-70fps at that res instead of 75?

FWIW heres some system rq's i found on wikipedia, not sure where they came from so i dont know how accurate they are

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Test_Drive_Unlimited

i'd say more to the 40-50fps because the 7900GTX is quite abit faster than the 7600gt

I have an antique GeForce 9200. Will TDU even start? Is there any chance of getting 25 FPS or I shouldn't even bother?

Did you mean ATi 9200 or Geforce 5200? The ATi 9200 does not support dx 9 and will not be compatible with this or other newer games to require dx 9c.

Gah if I didn't have this radeon x800 my FPS would probably be pretty high, when I had beta I was getting a steady 30 fps with everything maxed except no hdr, cuz my card doesn't support it :(

BUT now I have a dual core, before a single core, I doubt it'll make much of adifference though fps wise, we shall see, anyway, for those pc specs....

Operating System : Windows 2000/XP/Vista

CPU : Intel P4 @ 2.4Ghz or AMD Athlon 2800+.

GPU (Video Cards) : ATI Radeon 9800 256MB VRAM or Nvidia 6600 GT with 256 MB of VRAM.

Video Cards with vertex/pixel shaders 2.x and above are recommended.

SPU (Sound Cards) : DirectX 9.0 compatible Sound Card.

System Memory : 512 MB, 1 GB recommended

Hard Disk free space: 8 GB

DVD drive: 8x minimum

DirectX 9.0C (included)

these are from the euro forums posted by tenebra who has been in contact with the devs, this stuff is as accurate as you're gonna get...and I think it's been updated to reflect whats on the EURO box

those are the same rq's that are posted on wikipedia

my setup

Athlon X2 4400+ (dual core)
Geforce 7600GT 256mb ddr3
1gb DDR333 ram
200gb hd (w/ over 120 gb free)
16x DVD
i should be in the 50fps+ range @ 1280x1024 i would think

Ooops, my mistake. I meant Radeon 9200. It doesn't have dx9 support. So the game won't run on my machine?

Well I got a decent 25 fps with my setup. Got plenty of RAM and processor, guess my gfx card could use an upgrade...

Hi,is it possible to run this game in 1360x768 res?

Tricky

When I tried this game I had
-Pentium 4 HT 3Ghz
-1GB PC3200 Corsair Ram
-ATI X1900XTX [overclocked to max via ATI Overdrive]
-250GB Western Digital HD
-using winXP SP2

..Okay, so.. I ran the game at Max quality, with HDR and reso was 1680x1050. Terrible. Played with the settings and resos, nothing.
No lag..just constant anoying skipping. It was horrible :sour: ..

Now I have a
-Pentium D820 2.8GHz + 2.8GHz
-2GB PC6400 Corsair Ram
-250GB WD
-Same videocard +same settings [x1900xtx]

Should I give it one more chance? I don't know.. It ran like total crap last time. Any suggestions?

woah holy old thread batman!

FWIW i run 1280x1024 2xAA 30fps in high detail on the system i stated above, other than the fact the cpu is OC'd to 2.4ghz instead of the stock 2.2

(way back in february btw)
