With only 512 Mb system ram that may be your limiting factor. Most new games need at least 1 Gb to run with any decent performance.

Try pressing "C" a few times to drive infront of your Car... This will look like this...

Its the only way for a faster gameplay...
PLUS make sure you DONT have any AntiVirus programs or a Firewall killing your copmuter... 99% of the times those programs use alot of CPU Power... :(
You could try with just the Firewall on, to check it out...

im not real good with pc's just to be sure is my clocking speed the same as the memory use that is displayed in the process manager
because my clocking speed memory is 512MB and in process manager is shown that my memory use is 318/1249 MB
And if its the 512MB that matters can i upgrade it in some way?

You could goto a Store with the Specifications of your Motherboard and tell them you need more memory... Example, Mine is a ASUS A895B... Its really not, just wrote the number because I cant remember which model Spec it was...LOL..

Aye -- a memory upgrade should help. BTW -- To check the physical memory, right click on the my computer icon, click properties -- the processor/speed and phyical memory will be displayed.

this is what it sais :
Pentium 4 cpu 2.60GHz
Clockingspeed: 2.61GHz, 512mb
So if i would get a memory upgrade tot 1224 Mb test drive should work?
the Ati Radeon 9600 TX is good enough?

I would go for another 512 if you can afford it. The 9600 should do -- but not for higher resolution/details at playablable framerates.
