Since there are so many questions reguarding the operation of the Nintendo Wii, I have created a thread dedicated to answering those questions. So, on with the questions!

My Wii seems to have some issues with being next to my 360...when I turn my back, I can hear the 360 taunting the Wii, but then the Wii bites the 360 in the USB jacks...whats the best solution?

So, you are paraphrasing the problem eh? Well, have you tested to see whether your USB jacks work on the 360 when away from the Wii? Because if they do, I may have a solution.

I'm not paraphrasing the problem, its written exactly as happens.

Just separate them; Use the Wii stacker: http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=802607

But I have no room for such a device...and even then I don't think it'd stop the Wii munching on the USB ports...

I have a question:
When you put a disc in the console, is the Wii making noise normal?
It sound loud when I put a Wii disc, but when I play a GC game it's not as loud. Help?

Everybody's Wii makes that "shhhhckkkkk" sound when a disc is inserted. When it is loading, it makes quite a bit of noise also.

Sorry to make a double post, but I need this thread to be a little more popular. Also, here are some things people who own a Wii need to know:
1. When you want to update a Mii, just edit it, because I have had four of the same Mii sent from somebody here come on my system before with almost no changes to any of them. When WiiConnect24 is on, basically anything you alter in the Mii Channel affects other systems which are registered on your friends list.
2. There is no reason to send two Wii messages; if you are afraid because your computer was not on, (if you use the Wi-Fi USB Connector), the next time your Wii connects to the Internet, the message will be sent.
3. About Miis again, do not ask someone to send you their mii, look for it in the Mii Parade, because somebody will most likely have their miis on mingle mode.
These are just some things I wanted to point out for those with a Wii.

this isn't really a problem but have you noticed that when your wii is turned off and u get mail the disc slot glows?

^Yes, that is normal; it will do that when it receives any mail. Even when it is on.

I have tried to connect my Wii to our home wireless network. However everytime I do this the wireless network begins to fail and the Wii and all the computers in the house will not connect to the internet wirelessly. Computers will then display the message "limited or no connectivity" and the problem will only be resolved when the Wii is told to stop trying to connect to the internet allowing the computers to run again normally.
Any help would be much apreciated
Ben
