View Full Version : question for those who downloaded game last night/today..anyone get past first race?

ive seen a lot of people saying they are having trouble gettnig past the first race.. that when you go into the race it just sits there... This is happening to me as well, and before i go and reinstall or redownload the game, i was wondering if ANYONE can get past that screen in either online or offline mode...or if we are all in the same boat.

yeah i know a lot of people are experiencing the problem, i was just curious if there was someone who wasnt experiencing it, like they downloaded the game from atari and loaded it and now are online playing it and its not freezing at that first race.. (well not freezing per say as you can still escape out, but freezing in the sense that it doesnt let you run the race or continue the game)

In the beta when I did not want to do the first race, I pressed P and restart and then P again and quit(not the game, but the race). But i'm not sure if you can do that in this one.

Tried this, there is no quit race option since the race never actually starts. :mad:
Also the Exit option is grayed out and can't be clicked. WTG Atari one of the buggiest games I have ever installed. Hope this is fixed SOON. For god sakes get your asses in gear Atari and patch this crap ASAP.

No, but first restart and it won't be grayed out anymore.

im in the same situtation... very poor this is.

tried many things, just wont have the option to get passed or actually race :(

I'm having the same problem. The race won't start after I click "start." The only way to get out is to quit the game.

The file he provides is from a warez group and the link is full of pop ups etc. Avoid.

Even the mods would tell him to use the search function, so I dont see the point in telling me to leave it to the mods when they would have done it also. I was merely telling him to try not to do it again...no need for the comment.

Mods, lock the topic please.
