Great Video, I think, we will see a lot of Thrill Rides decorated with your lights like on a real fair.

Ohhh.... I was going to make something with lots of pretty bright lights sometime in the future.
Make tons and tons of pieces..... and maybe some still neon like lights and stuff just to allow for some non-lag building.

Waahh! This set is starting to do my head in, not to mention my eyes!
There are just TOO MANY possibilities....
MODELS
I am just going to use walltiles, floortiles, horizontal & verticle tubes and maybe a sphere or spheres.
TEXTURE SIZES
All the textures on the video are only 8x8 pixels. I may go up to 16x16 pixels in some cases. I need at least 4 different textures to get the appearance of movement/scrolling.
TEXURES / PATTERNS
Its gonna be fairly simple. Mainly horizontal, verticle and diagonal lines, a few squares, circles and blobs. No fancy graphics or pictures.
LIGHT SEQUENCES
Not going to go too mad here either. Sticking to uniform frame sequences at the moment.
Just on-off sequences, colorswaps and scrolls.
FRAME SPEEDS
I am using mainly 4 & 8 animation fps.
At the moment I am aiming to put around 64 pieces in the pack.
As this is a FIRST pack, I am going to keep it simple just to kick things off. If anyone wants to make another pack afterwards with more complex versions of the above elements then feel free to do so.
Thanx for all the kind comments. I will release another videoclip shortly.

This will be very useful, even for warp tunnel effects and non-disco things as well! Great idea!

I have done a little more on this pack, not as much as I would have liked due to very heavy work commitments.
(There is a problem with the red & white scrolling wall which I am aware of)
Here is the 2nd demo video:

Hey, ricardo, I think you may have packed your files wrong. When I unzip with WinRar, the style.common and style.unique ovls are not in any folder. You need to zip the entire folder with your CS in it in the Atari/RollerCoaster Tycoon 3/Style/Themed folder, not just the contents of said folder.

Lots of peeps here maybe didn't realize that this set is available. Also a release at the begin of a week isn't also very helpful. I have download the set, but I can test it first on next weekend.
The best day for new releases is always Friday.

Sorry about that - I didn't realise the importance of the day of release.
I thought the feedback was a bit on the quiet side, even taking into account the forum being busy. I will bear that in mind for any future releases.
Should have promoted it more.
p.s.Thanks for all the kind comments.

Ricardobugsy - I was wondering if any other site was able to host this set? Megaupload does not work for some of us (myself included). And I'd really like to see this set in my park...
Thanks and great job!

I am having trouble receiving an activation email from Vohdins pages.
I am struggling to find an upload section on Mods to the Max.
RCT3X does not appear to have an upload section for Custom Scenery.
Has anyone got any other suggestions where I could try and upload it?
If not, can anyone else can host the pack for me?
I would be very grateful as I am struggling at the moment.

Try over at RCT Revalutions, they host a lot of designers sets. Contact any of their staff there and they should be able to let you know what they can do.
