OK, so I browse through all my options at home and find this Trade thing. I'm assuming other online players put their cars up for sale, and those are the cars you look at.
So who in their right friggin mind would buy a car through this Trade feature for triple the price than the dealership? I see the stats, and can see where people have clearly modded/upgraded the cars. But most are stock cars for retarded Ebay prices! Is this just me?

There's a sucker born every minute.
I'm tempted to flip some Saleen Mustangs or something and get rich quick, but I think I'd feel bad. :p

OK, I just procured an S281S and put it up for sale at about 30,000 over value as an "experiment."
When I came back from lunch, sure enough, somebody had snapped it up. :weird:
I feel like I just clubbed a baby seal. I don't know whether my conscience can take making easy cash this way. :(

Well as I explained in the thread in the General section:
On other MMO's I've played, people sell items for MUCH higher than they're worth. However, often because it is the only such item on the market, the noob will assume that that's a good price to buy it at, until of course they find the actual vendor that sells it for less than it's worth.
I'd say the same goes for TDU. If that's the ONLY Firebird on the market, some noob will logically assume that 225k or watever is a good price for it, until they find it at a dealership and realize how ripped off they would have (or already did) gotten.

some people have a LOT of money in their account, so they don't care how much it costs .. I myself have a couple of million dollar in my account :) .. so I don't care less :)
but I have don't understand the whole trading thing at all. Last night I was playing TDU (pc) online, and decided to sell one of my houses for twice the amount it normally is. I hit 'trade' and it sold right away ... for half the price I bought it for ... wtf ?
any1 ?
