It was a cold rainy day at the beggining of March, Mr. Cherry had a dream of building the perfect theme park, a place "Where Dreams Come True". Once the crew had been called in, Construction had begun. Mr. Cherry's Dream of the perfect theme park had started. He dreamed as right when you walk in, you think your in a place more that a theme park, but a Dream.
Location: The Happiestererer place on earth! (Each "er" represents each Disney Park, [4] Disneyland - Happiest"er"er"er"er")

This park is based on an old Village Deep into mountains where no man has journeyied before. Where the old amish had onced lived.

I have worked on this park alot, and you may see more than I have announced, so if you seem to catch something that I have not announced it's your luck day :).

You Can Find...More Photo's, videos, and exclusive Cherry's World Suveniours (SP?) at http://cherryforums.freepowerboards.com and if you feel welcome enough feel free to join!

Welcome to the Forums!

This looks pretty good, but the entrance looks a little repetitive, try adding some windows and such to the facade. I would also change the path fences around the queue lines, seeing as I personally hate the in game ones. Shyguy's Circus Center sets have some really good paths.

Oh, and the walls don't quite reach the roof in the second picture, just a heads up!

the coaster looks a little short

Oooh. That coaster. It is a little disappointing. Those corkscrews would work a lot better if they were large corkscrews. Yes as Mike said, it does look a little short. Try looking at other coasters to get a few ideas to. But nonetheless, the park looks great so far.

-mike2084: It's a Vertical Drop Coaster, They are very short and very intense, This coaster is based of Oblivian at Alton Towers.

yeah i just looked at a couple of pics of oblivion but it still looked longer than this coaster. im personly not a big fan of short coasters i like to have that butterflys in the stomach feel as long as possible

The coaster is a little too short. Do you have Wild!? Because I think an immelmann, if you don't know what one is, Here is a picture. (http://www.rollercoasterpro.com/basics/inversions/images/immelman.jpg) would work for this ride. That is only possibly with the Extended Coaster in Wild though.

The building in the second picture looks rather plain. Try adding something to the facade. Otherwise, it looks pretty good.

A better choice would be to make it an arrow corkscrew coaster.

Hello and welcome to the Atari Community. I will be your official and unliscenced Simon Cowell for the day. Actually what I'm really going to do is be the first person in this entire thread to tell you what is really wrong with your work-

Firstly; your park name just makes me want to not click the thread. I mean, people name parks a lot of crazy things; I never thought Wonder World would make it; but you know what; Cherry World- That's just cuttin the cheese. I mean why have a name like Cherry World thats full of balogni when you can have so much better? I don't know. I hate so many names people choose but hey if you like it - keep it. It's not worth the fight.

Now, the entrance looks nice. A little repetitive, could use a splash of color. If you have DRP's lights I'd use them too and get some brighter effects there; maybe a waterfall would be a good use of space and you know what always looks good in a park; flowers.

Next, that coaster has terrible terraforming. Don't take that too harshly, you're new and terraforming is hard to get down; so heres some helpful ideas to make it better. Firstly, you want to try and build the mountain around the coaster and not the other way around. You want enough foliage so that you don't have 5x5 squares of grass in the middle of the...alps? Lets be real; not a single alp has any grassy patches or even flat spots so as you can imagine you're going to need a lot more trees.

The coaster is also not too fitting. Journey Through The Alps sounds like it should be a nice long adventourous not too over intense ride; doesn't it? I mean, Expedition Everest now that i would be scared of. Turns out its worse than the matterhorn but anyways it's way too short, colors clash, you should consider a different kind of coaster. Supports are very randomly placed and they are far too limited; and I'm telling you that if that's really a launch coaster like you said out of the station, you're going to get a giant pile of spines on that first turn since it's just a flat whip turn; you need to learn how to or even try to use banking when you turn; trust me when I say your guests' will thank you.

Okay- Simon's tired.

Its one of those coasters with a two hour wait for nothing, please take some addvise and make it longer. please don't tell me that little white spot i see is the alps, its not big enough, almost the whole coaster should be in the alps.

Now that I've slept on it I think jmbekrub (odd - your name makes me want a backrub) is right. Your Alps are like little baby alps with some spraypaint on top.

-CoasterMouse: Again Again Thank You

New Coaster, but not journey into the alps.

I like the coaster, but the hill after the big one seems that it would pull people right out of the train.... in other words, it looks like it goes over the hill waaay to fast.

There isn't any thing wrong with that. It's called Ejector Airtime if I'm not mistaken.

There is more than one type you know. What ~Love Tulie was talking about was Ejector. Where people get pulled over a hill too fast.

Looks pretty good. Might I suggest using the American flag on the Hershy's kissing tower? If you sink it into the ground (provided you have the right options.txt thing put it it should work) and then add water, it would look much better. The flag is much better, and is animated!

Ladies and Gentleman, boys and girls, I am sad to inform you that Cherry's World shall be on hold, why? Because I have two reasons.
1.Ideas run short and creativity lacks
2. I think the park file is currupt for some reason, i'll try as hard as I can to get it back, I could just use the one I have stored on a Jump Drive, but the I'd have to restart the Empourium.

Thats all, stay tuned for updates and check out Cherry-Forums ;)

Does it say something like the file is corrupt when you start it? If so try opening the park anyways.

Thats a real shame, this park had a great future. I really hope you manage to get it back from corruption-ville, if not good luck with your next project.

WooHoo, Cherry's World File has been recovered and is back in business! And I have upgraded to Vista! All bugs have been fixed for Roller Coaster Tycoon 3! I hope you enjoy the new first post.

I have based off O' Finnigans Funland (The first Post) (I cited my work!)

P.S. Mr. Walt Cherry wants you to know that a dark ride is being made

That's great news. Now only if I could figure out why all of a sudden the park file and the backup park file I was working on became corrupt and won't open again.
