Yeah the NSX R is nice, but if it had to be one honda, its should be the Honda NSX R-GT

Honda got slapped wrists in the Japanese GT Racing for modifying their race car too far away from the original base road model, so they made a few of these to make the race car legal again.

If I'm not mistaken Acura used to make the NSX?

Acura is Honda's american "prestige" brand, Ditto Nissan with Infinity.

I guess the marketing boys didnt think americans would buy a $100k+ Honda :lol-sign:

I don't think the new Civic would even be competitive in Group F.

The interior of the new Civic Si is a ****ing train wreck. The damn dash is as long as the hood.
Granted its got ~200hp, and could out perform some of the other class F cars in TDU, like the SSR and Sky.

OK, maybe the SSR, I concede - I like the little truck, but it's a dog performance-wise. Haven't driven the Sky, so I don't know about that. Nevertheless, the Civic Si probably doesn't lend itself to the image TDU wants to project.

Then why include the Volkswagen Golf R32, or the Saturn Sky for that matter?

I know they made game models for the Honda delSol. So I've always wondered where the Honda lineup got swept off too.

Those aren't nearly as rice-ish.

I know they made game models for the Honda delSol.

That wouldn't make much sense. It's been out of production for years, but I don't think anybody's going to call it a classic.

How you even seen a new Civic Si? And you saying its more rice-ish then a Saturn Sky? Or a truck that wants to be a hotrod?
And TDU got its fair share of cars that are no longer built, but not classed as G level. The more famous one would be the Skyline.

The Saturn Sky is an imitation of European roadster sports cars. The SSR is just part of the current retro trend among American automakers. Neither are particularly rice-ish. The Golf is significantly closer to that category.

And TDU got its fair share of cars that are no longer built, but not classed as G level. The more famous one would be the Skyline.Only the ones that are too famous to pass up despite not being old enough for classic status. Are we really going to put the Del Sol on the same level as the Skyline or Jaguar XJ220?

My question, is why isn't Toyota in the game? The Mark II Supra would probably make a great G-class car,
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/eb/82ltype.jpg
while the 2002 Twin Turbo could probably compete quite well in the C or D classes.

Or how about the 2000GT?

Holy crap, man, shrink those down.

The Mk. II Supra is the wrong era for Class G. The Twin Turbo is again in limbo by being several years out of production but not old enough to be considered classic. The 2000GT might work.

Yeah, but they've got the Lotus Esprit, it's out of production since 2004, and the Supra's been out of production since 2002.

+1..

Supra could be competitive with cars like the 350z, maybe a Rx7 aswell. RX7 would be lesser powered but better handling due to its 50/50 weight distribution, Etc.. The Honda NSX would be a nice add aswell.

Btw In 1999 the supra stop being sold in the us, and then in 2002 japan. When i heard that, i was depressed.

Nah the new type R isnt all that, I sure as hell wouldnt call it ricey, not until some tasteless **** puts graphics, chrome spinners and external neons on it.

They arent exactly fast tho, I have a modified 1 litre turbo daihatsu GTxx which goes to 60mph quicker than a Type R Civic(new and old)and has far superior in gear acceleration, and yes, I have had it properly measured with timing gear etc. :noob:

Power to weight is key ;)

woulda been good if they had included the S2000 tho.

Oh come on a supra/rx7 would **** all over a 350z if you compared both stock and modified versions, that is unless your adding turbos to the 350z, but even then I'd wager a similarly modded supra\rx7 would still have the edge, by a longshot given the years of development there has been in aftermarket mods for the Toyota/Mazda.

NSX = The finest sports car to ever come out of Japan. The thing can still keep up with many cars that have twice its HP at the ring. Acura/Honda really needs to get the ball rolling with the next one...

and yeah, TDU would cover a lot more ground if it managed to include this car.

if the normal civic isn't quick enough then shouldn't they add the type r instead then it would be competitive
