Ok, the game works extremely well on the ps3 (no lag or framedrops what so ever in online play) thats the good part.
here is the bad...if anyone else experiances this i feel for ya. I was letting teh game do its usual autosave after a race and low and behold the damn network started getting all choppy as it was saving, then suddenly froze just the game not the ps3. So guess what...a frozen game is the SAME as turning it off when it saves...POOF save file corrupted/invalid. long story shot i gotta start all freakin over again.
Also a question in here....I was racing someone earlier today and their car was choppily skirting all over the place (laggy ONLY on his car) the rest of the environment and frame rate was flawless...was it their connection or mine?

I have a PS3 too and I'm still waiting for my copy of TDU. Once I get it, I'll tell you if it happens to me too.
Actually, ask MaxTorque. He uses his PS3 for it.

On the subject of "was it their connection or mine?", this can be difficult to tell with certainty.
When you see someone's name drawn over their car in-game, their name is drawn in a colour which indicates how much lag there is between you and them. These names shade from white to green to yellow to orange to red, with white being the best connection. (You'll probably never actually see a white name, unless you're racing against somebody who's on a LAN with you)
So if everyone you see in the game has a red name, this suggests that it might be your connection. If some have red names and some have green, then it might suggest that some of them might be having connection problems, or it might mean that you're in a game session with some people who are far, far away from you. We do have players all over the world, and intercontinental network connections are a bit laggy, just due to the sheer distance that the packets have to travel. :)
