This ride looks great. I can't wait to ride it. It's about time they got a new coaster. Apollo's Chariot is amazing though and i'm still not tired of riding it. I hate to change the topic but did anyone here ever get to ride Drachen Fire? The first time i went to BGE was the first year they had it shut down and they claimed it was supposed to open back up soon and well as most know it never did.
Hemmy you need to go. It's a blast. Great rides and there aren't tons of people which means shorter lines!

I never rode Drachen Fire, but I wish they'd get rid of the Loch Ness Monster and build a better coaster. Loch Ness is too jerky. I am really looking forward to the opening of Griffon.

^ARE YOU KIDDING!!!
Lockness Monster is a classic. There is no way they can close it down. Plus, when I rode, I thought it was awesome, and I thought it was the smoothest Arrow coaster I've ever been on.
Next time I go to BGE, gotta check Griffon out. Looks like one sexy piece of steel.

No, I am not kidding. It is a rough ride on that puppy. At least the other coasters in the park are great fun.

Loch Ness can be a little rough at times going into the loops. At this point, I just ride in the front. ...still it's a good coaster and the second smoothest Arrow I've been on. ....with Tennessee Tornado being the smoothest.

I loved Drachen Fire. I rode it every season it was open and was sorely disappointed when they closed it and angered everytime I went to BGE and saw it sitting there for years before they finally tore it down. If you thought Loch Ness Monster was rough, then you really wouldn't like Drachen Fire. Drachen Fire is the only coaster I've ever ridden where I couldn't ride it more than 5 times striaght before my head hurt to much that I had to take a break before riding it again. That is the only reason that I can't be overly pissed off that BGE eventually closed it. I only wished they were able to rebuild it with the neccessary modifications to make it smoother.
I'm planning on going to BGE next weekend. I would've really liked it if Griffon was open by then, but at least I'll be able to see it up close rather than from the highway. I'm getting really exicted.:D :D :D
