how do you beat it?

OK hears the deal...
Ive played the game all the way through - and have enjoyed it. BUt it has come down to the last few quests...Run through the mountains - fight the dwarfs - kill the last big demon dude, talk to Salma she says - Lets go to Silverfall, screen fades to black and...I get kicked out of the game and sent to the main menu. When I restart the game I lose all lvls I earned, all items that were dropped.
Here are the stats - lvl 43 Orc, shapeshifting nature warrior. Playing online campain mode. Playing through Steam. Computer meets all the min req. On Comcast broadband. So i think everything is covered on my end.
I have ignored all the little bugs in the game, because I have enjoyed it so much, but this is MORE than a bug. THIS SUCKS!!!!!
SO what am i missing? Do i need to be a higher lvl? Can i NOT be a wearwolf when i beat the game? Does Venus have to be alligned with Mars?
Plz help if you can.

The biggest problem I can see, is that this game doesn't have orcs as a playable race. Maybe that's your problem...

crpgnut: Um.. he obviously means a Troll not an Orc.

Kind of Hazy: There is nothing wrong with your computer, or your character lvl or whatever. It's a game bug. You might try replacing the character file with a backup or something.

This game has a lot of problems with corrupted save game files. I don't know whether that will fix it, but it fixed a few weird things happening to my characters, so I figure you can consider that option.

This happens to me also, been playing on my home lan & have killed the end boss, the quest updates & the screen fades to black on both lan machines & we end up @ the main character screen missing the items we picked up.
Is this the end of the game or not? No end movie? No end credits?
