Killing the dark king? help please, slight spoiler.

Hi all ,been playing this game over a lan & have come to a place where the Dark king resides, after we get the stone & save KARA ,he attacks Kara & kills her,we fight back & can only drain his health down to 45 where it stays no matter what. If we teleport out of the place i have no quest marker to follow on the mini map.

What am we supposed to do? Kill the Dark king ,cos we can't.

It's down in the tomb, right? Where you get the crystal from the ghost?

You're not supposed to kill the dark king at this point in the story. Once you've beaten him up a bit, he runs away.
It sounds as if your game is bugged...

Yeah that't the place. Only thing is he doesn't run away LOL , he chases me round & round, just like a benny hill comedy sketch.

So what do i do now, can't start again, can't go back to a previous saved game, what now.

What happens if you zone back to a town?

Ok i sorted it, i had to quit the entire game then reload, went back into the crypt & everything was reset, even the quest. Just zoning back to town didn't reset the quest, i actually had to quit the game.

Hmmm... Reminds me of the troubles I had with one of the early quests - the one where you had to resue a caravan in the desert. I led the caravan back to the city, but the quest would not update. I quite the game, and after that I could complete the quest without trouble.

Strange...
