Query: Resolution etc

Hi

I played a demo of the game. I saw that it had only very limited options.. esp with Graphics/Video etc...

What I mainly wanted to know is: can the game be played in wide screen mode: 1440*900 ? Also does the actual game look as bad as the demo?.... Compare it against Neverwinter Nights.

I don't think it can be run in widescreen mode. I don't recall seeing that option. But then again, I don't have a widescreen monitor, so I don't know if that's just my system. Perhaps someone with a widescreen setup can confirm...?

The full game looks like the demo. Whether or not that's bad is a matter of personal opinion. I, for one, actually like the cartoonish look...

Widescreen modes are available. I am running the game at 1920x1200 resolution.

@GBesaw: How did you configure the game to run with that resolution... The configuration options I found in the demo were really limited.

In the demo, it video configuration and game settings was available in a standalone exe available from the monte cristo Program Start menu under silverfall. In the retail, in game hit the esc key, and select the graphics options, the game will quit and the configuration screen will come up.

Darn, it looks good in widescreen. Too bad I can't use it... :cry:
