On my XP with NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS, 2 GB RAM, the game is unplayable due to very poor frame rate. The problem occurs right from the outset in the very first screen that reqires the user to select a language.
Does anyone else have this problem?

Hi there. I have this same problem with good specs (not as good as yours, but still ;)). If you come back and have solved this problem, let me know! I have tried everything to get it up and running and nothing.
thanks

Update:
I installed the game on my laptop, which has comparable specs to my desktop, but not as good a vid card, and the game works fine! Very odd...
If anyone knows what to do next, please post! Thanks!

Essaniael, I am experiencing the exact same issue as you are. A nearby neighbour is also experiencing tha exact same issue using a different PC. I am running VISTA and my neighbour is running XP - both machines have enough grunt. What gives?

No poor frame rate here please, but I was getting incoming from the henchmen! They ATTACKED, but we shall once again prove, that we've the upper hand! I really like the 360 degree environment. I was originally going to post about a haunted house, but I was enchanted by Authur & Selena.
My miniature pumpkins thus thank thee for the novelty here.

I've experienced the same prob. Weird thing is, the very first time I started the game, it was running fine. But that was once. The next time I tried to play it, the framerate problem came up. I tried fixing it by updating drivers and changing memory management, but nothin' worked:confused:.
My specs are: XP(sp2), AMD Athlon(tm) XP 1600+ 1,4 GHz, 512MB RAM, ATI Radeon 9600 series.
These aren't unbelievable good specs, but the game should at least run fine at 1024x768.
If anybody knows a solution or think he knows, please post.
Thanks in advance:up:.
