Hi everyone, I have noticed that no one seems to make any custom Park Entrances so I decided that I would start a small CS pack with heaps of different park entrances. I have decided that as I currently cannot think of any designs that I will accept requests, when posting a request please post a very detailed picture. This does not mean that I will make every request and please do not PM me with any requests as I wont reply, if you wont to make a request post in this thread.

oh, I suppose I should dhow you a Park Entrance that I just completed(This entrance is for my Lego Pack that I am currently working on). You will notice that it has a scrolling sign and everything. The entrance also fits 3 paths under it, cool eh.:cool:

Things I will look into-

I will look into adding Billboards to entrances.
Adding vendors to entrances(I am very doubtful about this one, but I will try never the less).

OZ don't listen to him, he is just one of them flamers that are jealous because they cannot make CS. Also if your entrances are as good as your Lego Pack then I cannot wait for this release.

What if someone wants a particular sort of entrance and their is no download for it e.g. someone may want a derelict entrance with worn walls and graffiti, well if they don't have the scenery to make it then they can post a request. Also it come with the scrolling sign, with custom scenery you have to use the scrolling signs that you have. Where as I can make the sign to exactly how you want. Plus why bother lowering them underground if you can place one with one click.

Man, with all this fighting and flaming threads all the time it's no wonder so many CS leave or abandon their sets, its just getting out of hand. Someone puts their time and effort in and they get this crap. Its just annoying, I wish their was someone that could stop it. Its not the moderators fault, they cannot control everything(as far as I am concerned they do a good job). I wish people that just flame threads and be annoying would leave, I don't wont to get over angry and say something that I regret. Some example of the sort of things we get now a days in these forums.

people accusing others of stealing work.
people flaming threads until a CS maker leaves(this happened to eezee, i think)
not enough response and people bagging in other threads (this stopped xss277x space mountain pack)
People just plainly bagging others ideas

Its simple if you have nothing good to say then say nothing at all, I am sure everyone was taught that at pre-school(I know i am being Hippocratical).:confused:

Its simple if you don't want CS, don't visit the forums, if you don't like others ideas don't flame the thread. I know I am being overly aggressive right now but a lot of people put heaps of time in and them flaming happens.:bulb:

To sum up if no one wants CS anymore, then I suppose their is no need to post our CS on these forums and if no one wants CS anymore than I guess us CS makers are no longer needed at these forums.:mad:

I probably should have said "it is a home town problem and its just a user name, it does not need to be correct English". After all of this arguing and seeing other CS makers being annoyed until they leave I am unsure if I will continue making CS. I do not wish for this argument to go any further, hopefully people will view this thread and then think about how bad the posts in these forums are becoming. While saying this their is no need to report either one of you, as I have received PM's from both of you with your apologies. I wish that this thread did not turn out like this but their is nothing I can do about this and hopefully people can now reflect on this thread and think before they post. One thing I still do not understand is the arguing barely ever involves the actual maker of the scenery it is always just two other people arguing for no reason. As for my Website I will keep that running for the time being as I have many viewers that deserve to be able to view them, so out of respect to these people I will continue to update my site. As for making CS, as I said above I am unsure if I will continue, it is beginning to become impossible to work through these forums. This is not the mods or administrators fault. Now I also know that many of you that read this will think that I am looking for a sympathy vote, well all I can say is think again, all I wont out of this is for people to learn from what has happened here and also at other threads around these forums.

I like that entrance alot, it is very creative, maby you can make a brick one that is simple with windows and door with white trim, maby with a green roof....... great job, dont give up!!

This is a great idea.

Perhaps you can make an entrance that can be used multiple times which attach together nicely, for example if we want to make an entrance 4 booths or 6 booths wide that are somehow connectable by the roof or something.

Hope I didn't confuse you too much.

And don't worry about the immature people on this board. For every one of them, there are ten of us who appreciate your hard work and look forward to something new, even if there are different ways of doing it.

Surfingoz don't give up on this because of them, frustrating as it might be
for this story might help. I plus many like me love this game for the functionality of creating parks, whether be themed or not, and I gave this game up for dust until one day looked into the forums and seen things that did not come with original game. Woah how they do that it is so cool, then looked in custom scenery and RCT3 has yet to hit a dusty shelf. CS makers are keeping this game alive for me and I appreciate all you do for it.
There are many great cs makers out there and we should support ideas whether we as individuals use them or not.

I will have ago at the requests, not straight away as I have to go to school right now but I will get them done. I will look into making entrances with a billboard, I am not too sure about that but I will certainly give it a go. Sorry I cant write more specifically too you all because I am running late.

How about a gate that would look like it's part of a carnival or small country fair? Usually I think it would be a lot smaller in size, maybe white clapboard siding, a small window to sell tickets at, maybe a billboard on one side for a sign? I'd just think something small and kind of rustic would work.

Thanks for you nice words, I will certainly make that entrance as you requested, it is a very good idea. It may be a week until i can start working solely on this project due to school exams but never the less it will be completed.:up:

I am not sure about the vendor, so I will look into it and test some things. As far as I know their are no tutorials on stalls so it may take a while for me to figure out.:confused:

Sounds like a great idea, although for something like this I would need a picture as where I live we don't exactly get any carnivals. So if anyone could find a picture or pictures that would be great.:up:

Anyhow, could you consider creating 2 entranceways....

1st: A fairly detailed Six Flags Great Adventure entrance (not just for use in Six Flags parks, I could use it in other parks too.)

2nd: I very scary, defunct cemetary-ish (ie: broken gothic style gates to entrance, real spooky looking), medivalish looking entranceway for a haunted park.

^That's a good idea. The Great Adventure entrance has the bi-centennial/colonial look that a lot of park entrances have. This could be useful because it's somewhat generic and popular.

I found some images online of Carnival/Fairgrounds type ticket booths. Some carnivals and fairs have an open entrance with individual ticket booths scattered around the site, others sold all their tickets at one central site, often at the entrance.

These are'nt the best images, but they kind of show that the basic structure is pretty plain with a large window where money was collected. They depended a lot on signage, lights and flags to draw attention to themselves.

I have added the six flags entrance and spooky entrance to my 'too do list'. I think these will both make great additions to people parks.

I will use these as ideas for my carnival entrance and I will also use these to create ticket booths.

Thanks for he replies everyone. But as I have said before I still cannot work on these entrances until my exams are over. I will be checking in on the forums fairly often but I wont have enough time to make new objects.
