Hi folks!

I just want to present you my new CS. Of course this is the beginning. It will have more objects a little bit later. But appreciate the following:D:

Those are some boxes that I've created with the JP Logos. This is the first part, because it's gonna have some other packs whose gonna be released depending on my advancement on my park;). You must have the 2 add-on of RCT3 to use this pack.

Allright, I hope that I don't have missed anything for this first pack. Regarding the installation, a PDF file is included in the file, thanks reading before using.

Hey, here's a set that'll give you the Jurassic Park sign...thing, and some nice electrical fencing.

P.S. If you have Wild! for RCT3, it comes with a nice bundle of dino animotronics, as well as some Jurassic bushes.

I can also suggest J-Playa's Boneyard set which includes... bones!!

I am currently making an IOA set by request and I am doing all of the lands
so Jurassic Park items will come eventually.

Someone Should redo Shiftey's Set, I recently reviewed my copy of Jurassic Park
and the big "what do they got in there, King Kong?" gates the Movie is famous for are not Grey like they're seen in the Pack but a nice, Rich Black Color. I've Never Ridden Any of the Jurassic Park rides at any of the Universal Parks (come to think of it, I've Never Been to any of the Universal theme parks, period.) so the Big gates could be limestone gray. I know from Screen shots of IOA that the gates seen in the park section are Smaller than Their Hawaiian (yes, that scene in Jurassic Park was filmed in Hawaii) Counterparts. In any case IOA has two different JP gates; one in the Park section, and one on the Jurassic Park River Adventure(I've seen the ride on Youtube Videos). I can Tell you that Neither of the Rex-Head symbols were in the Movie (except of course on the Cars) I Know way too much about Jurassic Park for My own Good

ah. thats where your wrong BIGFAN. the JP Rex Head symbol is also on the helicopter, AND numorus items in the gift shop. BIGFAN. great set so far! love to see more!

Ummm.... only the INgen symbol was on the Helicopter. I think you're Thinking of the Toy. or possibly the fact that the T-rex head flashing on the Screen after Hammond gets off of the Chopper. That Symbol is on the Door of the Jeep. I don't like to sound snooty, But I've seen the Movie More than ten times,and I own Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis so I would Know all about Jurassic Park at least in the movies.

Hi everybody,

I'm back with my JP SET, concerning the copyright, I sent my request to Universal Studios and I still waiting an answer but, I've tried to create my own logo. Of course I've kept the JP logo when I didn't have any choice but just note that when I'm using JP logos, all the logos are the properties of Jurassic Park and Universal Studios and all the other thinks are my property, all the other logos has been created by my self. So, first, I 'm pride to present you the new logo of JP pack:

Tnak you. Yes, it's not always easy, especially for the logos. But this week-end, I'm gonna try to create the famous JP jeeps & cars. I think that I'm gonna post the first pics of the park.

Me too, got back from florida about 2 weeks ago, actually two weeks ago to this day i was in Universal studio's and IOA we did both of them that day, but tuesday and thursday we did one of them one day and the other one the other day.

Fantastic weather, but omg the pluto's barges ride :cry: i looked like a drowned rat!!! loool

Again can't wait to see this cool scenery in the park will add the great finishing touches to it :-)

I all, I'm already working on my JP set but now I've got a problem. I create a bilboard for my museum following the tutorial of surfingoz but I've got a little problem and I don't wich one. In fact, the texture I create for the bilboard face, doesn't in the game, see:

In the importer you do not actually choose a texture- use the special texture "Flag" called Billboard.

the new one looks good but it's kinda specific to your park.
If I wanted to make a jp park, the standard logo would be useful and it looks way better than using billboards

Hi all!

First Happy New Year!

Second, Since 2 days, I've got a problems to export my SketchUp model into .ASE file. Let's me explain: When I finish a model, I click <plugins<ASE Exporter<export, then I click OK for the Export option window and when I must register, I click OK and nothing happen. So could you please help me? Do you know what happen? I've downloaded the last version of SketchUp.

Hi pitchounais,

Did you by any chance download Google SketchUp Pro rather than the free Google Sketchup? I've never been asked to register when I click on export. The download there is very confusing.

If you go to the site HERE (http://www.sketchup.com/?sid=484), scroll down to the text titles "What's Google Sketchup 6?", then scroll down to the last paragraph. There will be links to both the free version as well as the Pro version. Did you recently upgrade your SkectchUp? Maybe the wrong file was installed?

If this isn't the problem you might pm surfingoz or Old_Spice, perhaps they've run acrross a reason, I've never had it happen to me.

BTW - the signs turned out great! Happy New Year to you as well!

Thank you! I'm very pleased that you love my CS. For the download, you just have to click on "télécharger", this is the french word to say download Just try & tell me if it works?;)

So, thanks to all for your comment. But since 2 weeks, I've got a problem to export my SketchUp model into .ASE file. Let's me explain: When I finish a model, I click <plugins<ASE Exporter<export, then I click OK for the Export option window and when I must register, I click OK and nothing happen.

I'm using SketchUp 6, the last version. Not the pro version, just the free version. I've fully removed SketchUp and reinstalling it but the problem still there. If I have some missing files, the problem is that I don't know wich one. Do you have any ideas?

Very strange. You could open the Ruby Console (last menu item in the Window/Fenêtre menu) and then select export, maybe it shows an error there.

Yes.. clicking the blue button with the words "télécharger ce fichier" in it at the bottom of the page popped up a window for the download, thanks. Im not sure if registration is required cause I think I already registered & logged in but it worked..

The problem is that it doesn't show anything! no error, no message nothing, it simply doesn't work at all. I've tried to download the plug in thinking he was corrupt but this is the same, it doesn't work. Is it because this is the new version installed in french? I really don't know so, could you help me?:(

In fact, I've found the problem. The plugin don't work because my new version of SketchUp is in french and the plugin for RCT3 doesn't work with the french version of SketchUp. So What I really need is the English version os SketchUp beu when I go the The site of Google SketchUp, it always give me the file .exe in french even when I ask In english. So could anybody help me to find the English version of SketchUp because now I've a new computer, I really need my SketchUp to continue me creations. So please, I need your help. It really drive me crazy.

Thank you, Happy to hear you use my logo set. If you're speeking about the T-Rex logo, it's supposed to be the logo of my coaster Journey to the Jurassic that you can see on my jurassic Park by clicking on my links;)

Thanks all for your interest on my CS. I just want to show you a screen of the advancement of my packs, yes I say packs with an "S" because there is in fact 5 packs. The 1st one is the logos 1, wich is released, the logos 2 pack, in progress, the JP Box pack, wich is released, the next one is a JP Signs pack, wich is in progress and the last one, the JP Items pack, wich is in progress of whom here is a screen :

First of all, sorry for this double post but I was obliged to do it if I want to present you the 4th set of my set.

Those are some Jurassic Park Items. Most part of them had been created by myself with a photo program except the official JP logo wich are properties of Universal Studios (R) Jurassic Park. You must have the 2 add-on of RCT3 to use this pack.

just a hint, you have unnecessary polygons were you do not need them (IE underneath, lights and stripes when you can use textures) and cut them in places were they usually need slightly more (wheels for instance)
i mean, that jeep ain't going no were fast with those wheels :p

the headlights have as many sides as the wheels ! :haha: :p

Whoa! That jeep is awesome day and night! But i do agree, you should make a circle in Sketch Up (if that is what you use) and rotate it upwards and copy it four times. Then pull the circles out a little bit. Then put the texture on them. That will make circular wheels for the jeep.;)

Not bad, pitchounais. Looks like some nice progress on modeling. Now, go and take a close look at the tires on the Tug Boat flat ride and you'll see a neat trick for making low ploygon round objects that look really good ;)
