Alright, there is one problem that I have with Dive Coaster water splashes in Roller Coaster Tycoon 3. No water splashes. I've considered the fact that the door ride event custom scenery has already been created, so I thought, the perfect way to make a water splash for a Dive Coaster would be to make a particle effect of water that ran as a ride event.

Now I have no talent in any form of 3D modeling or animation, so I was hoping a few of the masters here would see if they could figure something out.

Thanks!

In terms of custom scenery, I'm just as bad as you are. :(

But that sounds great, would add some more realism the game.......some to which should've made in the first place....by the creaters of RCT3....

....I wonder if the people who made RCT3 see the parks here, with the CS that's been made....hmmm

I remember reading somewhere here that what you stated was impossible. I am not entirely sure who said it, but I will try to find a link for it if possible.

Edit: Maybe, maybe not. a particle effect is continuous, while what you are looking for needs to be an event, which, like stated above might not be possible. But you can make it look like a splashdown using the mixmaster. CP Diva did it.

Getting a particle effect to be triggered by coaster can be done, moving a particle effect can be done, starting and stopping the particle effect can be done.

Getting a particle effect lined up to move at the same speed as coaster car so that it looks like the splash is coming from the car requires a very large number of effects all with slightly different position, length and speed of movement, which is very tedious.

You'll have to wait until someone else decides to learn how animation works, because I'm not about to create these.
