According to www.xtremecoasters.com , Dorney got permission to build a 184 ft. coaster, rumored to be Geaugea Lake's Steel Venom. Does anyone else know any other information?

Where is this Geauga Park they speak of? :D :D :D

Also, in the text they say 1 spiral side and 1 straight side (which is right if this is like Steel Venom at Valleyfair) and at the end of the article they say 2 spiraled sides.

This is a newspaper right? LOL

Yes the Morning Call is a newspaper. Geauga Lake is in Ohio near Cleveland was also know as Six Flags Ohio

^Are you serious?

Steel Venom at GL is 181ft tall and has two spikes. You must be braindead to not know its going to Dorney.

Also.. newspapers can mis-print things.. i've seen it quite a few times.

Fact of the matter, ladies and gents, Dorney is getting the former Steel Venom from Geauga Lake in 2008.

If you deny it, your just going insane. I haven't been certain of many things.. but I'm positive about this.

Well, considering the height specifications which Dorney cleared are about the same as Steel Venom's, and that the Steel Venom tracks are currently in storage behind Dorney...

I'd say they have a fair shot at getting the impulse coaster.

Actually, I believe Hypersonic and Flight of Fear are currently in operation at Kings Dominion. Flight of Fear was reopened last year after Cedar Fair completed the purchase of the Paramount Parks.

Hypersonic is currently listed as being for sale, but, much like Cedar Point's Demon Drop, it's expected that the park will continue to run the ride until a buyer is found.

^ It's an impulse, it's not going to take up much room, and yes, Dorney does have the room for it. Just like Snoo, I'm not positive about a lot, but this I know is going to happen.
