So, I was bored today and I decided to get back to trying to make Custom Scenery. Using Sketchup (not my first choice, but I have no time to learn anything else at the moment). So, made a 4h wall and a more complex object. I did all the steps needed, the object is grouped and the texture is correct. But when I try to import it, I get this:

Could someone explain why I keep getting this? If I click ok, and continue with Importing, the object won't show up in RCT3.
This is due to you not using the texture in the importer. When you "add texture", and then "add model" in the add model settings (on your model) you must select the texture that you put in for "add texture". That was extremely confusing wasn't it?
You have UV mapped your object right?

It means you didn't assign the texture to the model. In the model settings, click on the drop down box under texture, and select the one you added.

D'oh! That was the one thing I missed. I already UV-Mapped it, I just forgot the one thing you just mentioned.

I'm send everyone with any problems to Surfingozs' web site, He has some video tutorials, and pictured tutorials on how to use the importer!
His tutorials help me out alot, and right now I'm thinking about releaseing 2 sets at the end of May. 75 pieces in all, between the two sets! You can get to Surfingozs' website by clicking on the link in his signature! Hope this helps out!!!!

/\Thanks, and That's what I was using.
Anyway, got it, so everyone cheer for my 5 imported object!
Problem is, is that it has been flipped.

You need to edit the transformation matrix. In the model settings, (under transformation matrix) click edit, and then "Fix Orientation."
Make sure you remove the default matrix, as well. I'm not sure what happens if you leave it there and add the new one.

When I did that, nothing changed so...
Anyway, I was successful! I have an object that requires some more work before I show it, but it is something many have been wanting for a while now.

no you do not need to remove the default. all i do is load model, allply texture, edit, fix orentation, ok, and ok, then i set lod's and save....

works fine without it. all you need to do is make shure that the fixorentation if highlighted and not the default....
