You will notice in the picture below that I have a normal image but I am aiming to make it appear as if it gets smaller at the right hand side. Your texture should look similar to this(click image to view larger version).

To adjust your picture/texture right click on the textured face then go to texture>position. Now your screen should look like this(click image to view larger version).

Now if you move the pins around they will adjust the image. Their are 4 different pins that are used to adjust the picture/texture.

The red pin is used to position the entire texture(all pins move with the red pin, this does not adjust size only position).
The green pin is used to scale/rotate(this pin can adjust the size of the texture and the angle).
The Yellow pin is used to adjust the sides of you picture/texture. This is a way of skewing.
The Blue pin is used to adjust the top of your picture/texture. This is a way of skewing.

Below is an example of using the yellow pin to skew(click image to view larger version).

I hope this helps you.

Nice, but dont forget the option you will get with "Rightclick > Unset Fixed Pins". Then you can skew it better. The fixed pins are useful for rotating, scaling with constrained proportions and moving. The unfixed pins are useful for allign and skewing.
