I've read through every tutorial possible, and there's only one area that has me stumped: Effect points (for adding lights or special effects to an object).

In one of Belgabor's Tut's, he mentions the following: "Construction points can be used as single vertex meshes for effect points."

Does anyone have a visual:heart: sample of how this is done inside Sketchup? Or possibly explain it in detail? There's no further info , other then this being an added feature. Thanks very much!

Sorry, nevermind! I figured out how to do it by using the Text Tool and simply clicking a spot on the object.

first of all to create a single vertex mesh, in SketchUp we use the 'text' tool, where ever you place the end of the text is the location of the vertex. Name this something that is easy to remember, then after it is named you do not need to do anything else in SketchUp with this. When you add the model to the importer look for effect points and hit the 'A' button, now an effect should appear, this is already set to the coordinates that you placed in SketchUp. Now you simply edit this effect point to add the effect you wish to have in game.

to short cut it, you can add the name of the effect directly in sketchup and then when you hit the 'A' button no name change is needed!!
