In order to gain knowlage you must read the fourms. I suggest to you to really read up on how to install things and use them in RCT3.

Go to you My computer, then click your hard drive(C) then click program files, then atari, then rollercoaster tycoon 3, then style, then themed...
make shure when you open the downloaded file that there is a folder and 2 files... if not, drag the folder inside out and check to make shure...
ex.
old spices box set
bla bla.common.ovl
gla gla.common.ovl
something like that...

First of all you should go and read all the tutorials on how to install Custom Scenery before trying to do so.
The game engine works by following specific paths to access the CS file it is trying to use. That specific path was set up when the designer imported the object into the game. If the engine finds that this specific path has been altered - usually because an extra layer of folders has been created - you'll get an error message and the game may crash.
Ok, you downloaded a RAR file...I presume you then scanned it for viruses, right? Once you scan it, then I suggest you extract it to your desktop and not straight into Style\Themed to avoid possible problems. Once it's extracted and makes a folder on your desktop, double-click that folder to open.
Once you open that folder you MUST find two OVL files (style.unique and style.common) plus one or more folders or files that are the actual CS files. If you do find those two OVL files plus the CS files, you can drag or copy the folder they are in and place it in Style\Themed.
If you do NOT find those two OVL files, but instead just find a folder (usually with the name of the set on it...) that means that an extra level of folders has been created...which alters the path the game uses to find that file. Double-click and open the folder you did find. Are the two OVL files inside of it along with one or more CS files or folders? If so, then you can see that an extra folder was created.
You want to drag the folder that does contain the two OVL files along with the other files and folder with them, and place it on your desktop or someplace safe. The folder you drug them from should now be empty. You can delete it.
Now you can move the correct folder holding the two OVL files into your Style\Themed and the set should work.
If you get confused, remember that the two OVL files must ALWAYS be in the first folder you open in Style\Themed with the set's name on it.
Hope that helps.
EDIT: Both Vodin (Vermont Theme) and DasMatze (SwizzIt!) have parts to build log cabins.

My set (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=582247) would probably be somewhat useful too.
And if you want rocks Here's a good set (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=504139).
And for a snow park you'll be wanting this et. (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=533737).

Rocket9 - do you have Vista installed? If you do you won't be able to see images for your billboards unless you install a work-around because the paths are different in Vista. Go to the Tech foum here and search for Billboarda and Vista

If you ever get the CS sets install you may want to go to [URL="http://osudennyrct3.com"]. He has some great buildings and also items for the billboards.
