What does the silverfall editor do?

I also got silverfall editor in the disk.
But every time after I install it, the weapons become pink.
And every time I try to press editor icon twice, it will only load hal, and then kick me out.
Can any one tell me what is this editor about?

The obvious purposes of the Silverfall editor is to edit/ create new and existing environments and dungeons in Silverfall; create mods for new weapons, new creatures, or new script chains ( such as altered loot or +chance for encountering champion class monsters). In the editor you have the ability to alter the stats of everything your character can interact with, from the stats of your allies and enemies to the statistics of the chests you encounter. for example if you have a hard time finding those really awesome endgame weapons like the ones the Dark Elves or Corrupt Elves use, you can set the statistics of a type of chest to drop the epic named weapons from the game by quality number. you can also edit the # of items, # of potions, amt of gold dropped, % chance for gold drop, and modifiers for loyalty based loot.

The editor doesn't appear to work correctly. Your weapons turn pink because it "lost" (perhaps deleted) the texture file for your weapon. Only way to fix it is to run a fresh install of the game and remove the editor it seems.

Word of warning for those with the Steam version: DO NOT install the editor. It'll wipe out most of the textures and skyboxes.

Installing patch 1.17 give me missing textures as described above 1.16 has no problem for me
