[WIP] Weasel's Spanish Roofs (Yes, they're back!)

Hola, como estas? In honor of Cinco de Mayo, I've decided to put this up here. I know my last roof set was a flop, nobody could use it, well I hope it's different this time.

I've decided to do a beta release of this set, so if you want it, PM me your e-mail address. I'm not quite done with it, I need icons and things, and maybe some other pieces, maybe you guys could help me out with ideas ;)

I need suggestions for more pieces, but I want it to mainly be a roofing set, and ideas are welcome.

Really nice :) Can you add 3H and 4H? Maybe additions such as chimneys, ione with a smoke particle effect, etc.

Spanish roofs aren't generally very steep, so I think i'll keep the 2 heights, but chimneys are a good idea! And I'll have to learn effect points again, but oh well. Thanks for the idea!

Yes, they are 1/4 tile, so you can use them with Shyguy's walls, and other things. I hope to get them out by mid next week, if not sooner.

I am so pleased to see that the set has returned!! It will be amazingly useful to many. Yes, half tiled pieces would be brilliant!

Maybe you could add a colourable variant o that set, because the roof textur would also work for a pagoda roof, but the colour should be different then.

Or you expand this set with some typical spanish/mexican hacienda walltypes like this:

An inside corner would be terrific, as would a peak roof and peak roof end.

Inside corners can be formed by placing two of them in the same spot. That's why none of Shyguy's sets have inside corners. I'm working on the chimney, and the roof peaks now.

Hmm, so far (haven't done much thorough testing) this is working real well. And something is missing from the roof pieces IMO, although you said that you are working on them. Roof pieces work and look great though.:up:
