This poll was started to see how many votes we can get to IGN starting a SilverfallVAULT for the modder community. In my experience the IGN Vault sites have always been a haven for builders/mappers and modders. If you have ever gone to lets say NWVault and browsed thier content for the builders, they can really help a gaming community take a game, build upon it, and offer an outlet for the creativity of the players.

I think Silverfall has great potential in the modding world, given we have the resources available to us, the tools available and a community to back us.

If we get enough votes maybe I can take it to the IGN team and see if they will consider starting a Silverfall Section for the builders and modders.

Thanks.

I voted yes, but frankly I don't see them doing this until more interest is generated for this game and content starts coming out. I don't know of ANY content for this game which is too bad.

Well, since I think Silverfall is going the same way Temple of Elemental Evil is going, my guess is nobody will want to invest time and money to support a community (modders/mappers) which is unable to play the game as it was intended. Ok, I'm exagerating a bit but let's say that it is impossible to garner enough interest with as much bugs/problems as it stands right now.

If, on the other hand, Atari and the power that be, fix the game and do it right, I don't see why Silverfall wouldn't prosper. It has great potential.

So did Horizons, but that's another story.

You know, now that you mention it, horizons was an awesome game.

I played that game for a few months on release playing a dragon and I must say it was VERY fun and innovative. BUT, needed some serious attention in the graphics and patch material department, which is why it
died.... makes me sad :(
