What's going on with the disk....

I don't quite understand what's going on with the whole "Please insert the original game disk" message. Sometimes the game loads, while sometimes it only displays that message. Why is it taking eight or ten times to try to open the game for it to open...My computer is great, stat wise. It runs the game perfectly.

Anyone else get the "Please insert Original Disk" messages?

same here, game goes slow after I've been running it for over a few hours. I restart the game and now it won't load my DVD.

Run silverfall again and it crashes my computer.

It sucks A LOT when the CD protection crashes an otherwise perfectly playable game that I PURCHASED. :-(

You guys do realize that pirated versions don't have these problems?

I just got the game, and it crashes every time I try to run it. I got the patch, defragged my HD, and tried reinstalling the game. Anyone got any solutions?

The problem is in the desktop shortcut. It tries to direct you to a file in your computer. The problem being there isn't a file in your computer that will load the game. The game can only be loaded from the disk. So, if you can figure out a path to the file on the disk, then you could use the shortcut, otherwise the shortcut is useless.
