K Here we go these are my ideas for t3 last time i did not know squat but ive had so many ideas stored up that i have to share
Heres the Contents;
#1 My story
#2 Finishers and ultimates!!!
#3 Fatigue System
#4 Environmental damage!!!!
#5 My New targeting mode!!!(optional for the game)
#6 Simultaneous Battling system!!!!
STORY
Well heres how my story would be ok first you would start off in the db era and of course work your way up . so anyway id have the feature were you fly more like in b3 this was way more realistic but not totally.
first off the world would be a lot bigger so flying around would take longer. not too long but realisticly. then you would of course go through different types of training like fro example korin,
kami , and so on but the only differents would be is that you are actually gonna have to chase
korin or whatever happen with training
like when goku trained on king kais planet he had to go through the step process get bubbles, catch gregory then, hed be able to really train and another realistic part of this would be that you would actually struggle under the gravity you are under this would be the same for other types of training
aside from that the story would be set up in a whole new way the
episode would be exact like the real deal is wat i call it i mean actuall episodes it will say the
episode number and the title of it . but you would have a pretty long time to finish a saga time limit is unknown but it would not be setup as anime scenes from the show it would be like b1 but in the
tenkaichi form but there would be more action instead untill the last ep there would finally be some kind of cool cutscene every ep would have an exciting cutscene makin you more interested the battles would be pretty much the same except for one idea im gonna add later
Finishers And ultimates
Well now its finisher time and ultimates. so the finishers would kinda go like this. i was really disapointed wen i seen the spirit bomb in the first game so i thought well the next will improve still no improvement on any of the ultimates for that matter
so heres my idea for a spirit bomb you get your finisher when you launch it well for one the move will be actuall size like in the show anyway you launch your move then here comes the fun part and hard
you launched you attack on your opponent then if it gets close enough
your opponent puts there hands on it and trys to oppose it this is were the beam struggle kinda fits
in but its not a beam struggle you try to add power to end your opponent while he or she is trying
to push it back at you so they have equal chance of of damaging you this results in who ever
rotated the anolgs faster but thers another way too doge the ultimat say your goku you can launch a kamehameha as long as you have full ki bars not max and have your beam try to push it
back FOR EXAMPLE COOLER VS GOKU super nova against kamehameha you get the idea!!!!!! now
there is more to add to the finishers but they are seperate ideas
FATIGUE SYSTEM!!!!!
this is one of my fav ideas the fatigue system!!!! this is were you will have a body next to your health meter it will be in green and as battle progresses your body will go from green to yellow to
orange to DANGER!!!! RED where you are pretty much defensless say dont you just hate how you
do a move and your friend or the opponent blocks it like nothin well thats all about to change if you do a kamehameha over and over you too will start to be damaged but not to red at least yellow area anyway lets turn the table your opponent is hit by the move but he blocked it this damage wil
go towards his arms so the more he dodges with his arms the more damaged they become to the point were he cant use them or use finishers
one more thing the area you attack will become damaged not just the whole thing and just to be damamged to get to the yellow health bar is stupid it should be more realistic so if i punch
someone in the face hes either bleeding or bruised
Next after the battles done you can see all the damage your character had done to him it will show
a full detailed pic of him and all the damaged points of the body then you have a X-RAY version to see broken bones this would make it feel cool because you could see what kinda battle you had to go through this would also fit somewhere in the story!!!
ENVIRONMENTAL DAMAGE!!!!!!
Did you ever see a kamehameha hit the ground in the show? well i sure the hell did and when it
does it makes a huge explosion like dome then when the smoke clears it leaves one huga ass
crater in the ground this is determined how powerful your character is kinda like this order
Goku base phuge crater and explosin
goku kao ken x5 more damage to the environment starting to cause huge amounts of damamge
Kao ken x10 huge destructive force up the area
more would be damaged but say you go super saiyan
anhiliation to the area almost the entire area is deastroyed
SSJ2 lightning forming tides over flowing damage is so powerful the beam penetrates earths
atmosphere and causes an unbeliavble amount of destruction
SSJ3 totally wipes out an entire CITY!!!! causes clouds togather lightning and a huge force and a
crater is left the size of 30 parking lots wide and almost reaches the earths core
SSJ4 totall destruction in its path anything environmental is drastically destroyed cities forests etc etc
well you get the point with beams now when you are thrown into a building you will get stuck and or jamed in the outline of it if your smashed hard enough then the result of damage is changed smae goes for the rest of the environment!!!!
NEW TARGETING SYSTEM!!!!!!
Now some may not agree on this thats why i put optional but anyway this is where you will to be a
character and when you choose that person you will of course during battle launch a move for example FRIEZA you use death beam but if you have full power and choose not to do your ultimate
this is where my targetting system comes in you will now go into first person mode and a crossair would go on the screen
you can now choose a spot to aim and fire this could come in handy lets say you decide to fire at there leg there leg will now be damaged
they will then walk or fly very slowly because of the injury so this gives you an advantage over them so now hitting them with finishers would be easier so they cant dodge as much other moves like gokus you would be able to controll the direction of gokus kamehameha if the opponent
dodged it you could make it turn around and try to hit him but this would drain energy so be wise!!!!
BATTLES AT THE SAME TIME!!!!!!
this is what most people want you would be able to have up to 6 fighters on the battle field at the same time some say thats impossible but with a new directional change like be able to switch targets and make the environment at least 2x the size it is now will change that an turn impossible to possible
now that this is resolved you can also do double teams and such
you will also be able to give items to your partner like a senzu bean and others in that manner

Pendilum Room(mode where you can raise the teir/power levels of your CAC characters, by playing through available sagas in place of of goku and the z-fighters) if your character is evil alignment, you work with the villians. in this mode there are no story cutscenes. there will be a few parts that weren't in the story mode, just for your CAC. it will start at the beginning of dbz. your character will arrive on earth(in whatever race's space pod you chose, or if you have more than one they will arrive in a ship similar to frieza's. unless your CAC is human). depending on if you made them good, neutral, or bad will effect what happens. if good, goku and the z-fighters will challenge you to a fight to see if you truly are good. if neutral, they'll do the same. in those story lines you will become part of the z team and defend the universe. if evil however, they will defend the earth against your tyranny. if you win you conquer earth then move on to the rest of the galaxy. where you will run into each of the villians from dbz and dbgt. you will also have to fight the heroes that show them selves. future trunks and gohan will try to stop you as well. even the other world fighters. until you rule the galaxy. if you lose the first fight, you will go to hfil where you will train shortly until a wish on the dragonballs brings you back. the person that brings you back will be a cpu generated CAC and its your choice if you want to thank him and pledge your aligence to him or you can kill him. once again you call. then you will have to go through until you rule the galaxy. but this time the z fighters will be alot stronger.

Sex (Male, Female, or neither(neither is for races like namekian or psychogre))
Race (Human, Saiyan, Namekian, Psychogre, Android, Chill(freiza's race, i couldn't think of what to call it), Dragon, Demon, Origins Unknown(so you can make an entirely new alien race), Robot, Tuffle, Mixed(pick two races. android can mix with every race no matter what), and Bio-Fighter(which allows you to mix up to four different races, for characters like Cell).
Alignment (Good, Neutral, Evil) which also allows you to pick halos or even majin forms for your character
Blast 1 Moves (choose two from a list already made for the other characters)
Blast 2 Moves (Beam, Volley, Finger, Explosive, or Rush(with the rush attacks you are prompted to name your attack. you are given a list of fifty or so words. each word is tied to an action. so, in naming your attack you pick what it does))
Ultimate Blast (Like the rush attack selection, only it doesn't have to be a rush attack)
Throws (Pick which throw your character uses)
Transformations/Fusions (depending on race it may ask if you would like to add up to five transformations. then you customize each transformation the same way. this also include fusions and potaras between allied CACs)
Allies/Enemies (Choose which CACs are enemy and ally)
Team Attack (Designate allies, you can only pick allies that are CAC. which also determines what they will say to their ally or enemy. the attack would work the same as the rush attack selection, only these words will be tied to team combos)
Appearence (This is where it gets good, you pick skin color(if not pre-selected by race), body type(size:normal, small, large, giant, fat, stretchy), hair design and color, eye type and color, facial features. then costume. you get a variety of saiyan armors, human and namekian clothing, and other alien uniforms. and, if your character happens to be a lackey/henchmen of some kind you can design an emblem/symbol for their suit, so that everyone knows who they work for. it also allows you to swap clothing between races to help avoid seeing the same clothes on other people's CACs. you'd also be able to customize the color of the clothes on your character. pick a voice type(young, old, child, or if they just growl), name of your character. then it will ask if you'd like to write a short backstory/bio on your character.
this is the chart i came up with for the CAC transformation charts. the fusion transformations do not count for your character's transfomations. a total of five can be given to the base character. fusion dance characters can have up to four transformations, and potara fusions can have up to two. if the transformation is into a giant, the transformation is irreversible. keep in mind this is just an example. it doesn't have the max amount of transformations and fusions w/ transformations possible.http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w15/majin_khail/transformation-1.jpg

One on One fights
done pretty much the same

fights between one character and two or more people
at the beginning of the game these battles will be rare. but when they occur the opponents won't attack at the same time. this help you build up your skill in the multi battles as you progress through the game. as the game goes on the multi battles become more and more detailed/technical.
Team on One fights
done the same as a single but in this mode you can invite a friend to help you fight
Team Attacks
when both/all allies are locked on to the same target, they are given the option of a team attack, if both/all allies meet requirements to do the attack(L2, left, triangle). *for examples of team attacks:http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showpost.php?p=8898042&postcount=3338 (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showpost.php?p=8898042&postcount=3338)
Team Defending
when your team mate is in a tight spot you can lock onto your ally. when the enemy goes to attack your ally, you are given the chance to "defend" them. by doing this you can teleport in the way and intercept the attack. or if the opponent is using a ball attack(like the eraser cannon or big bang attack) you can fire a blast to deflect it away. or if the foe shoots a beam attack(kamehameha or galick gun) you teleport to your ally, grab them and teleport back to your original location. these commands are given as such...it only occurs when you are locked on to your ally. to make it more challenging the button combinations will change each time. the first time maybe it'll be L3 and square. but maybe the next it'll be L3 and triangle. thats to keep it from becoming repetitive.
Hand-offs
lock onto an ally and give them your item(senzu bean, potara, or whatever). this will also help for fusion with the potaras and for the fusion dance. both team members will have to hit L2, triangle, L3, and R3, for fusions. to hand off a senzu bean you press down on the L3 button while locked on to the team member.Ghosting
when both characters are at max power mode and rush each other, instead of the punching frenzy, it could be a "mirage battle". both characters disappear, then reapear and both characters are attacking each other(like in the bojack unbound when gohan and bojack are exchanging blows, but all we see is the impact circles. only in this mode we can see the characters). i figure don't mess with a system that already works so to win you rotate the analog. this ghosting mode will last for 10 seconds unless the characters are matching blow for blow then it will last up to 15. when you're in this mode the characters will automatically teleport anywhere in the arena.Blast Catch
when the character does the special block(the one involving block and the ki button) when an attack like the spirit bomb or big bang attack(huge energy balls) the character will "catch" the attack. then you rotate the analog to see if you have the power to push the attack back. this technique should only be used by characters who are average to larger size. smaller characters(like guldo, kid gohan, kid goku gt, pan, etc.) will not be able too. for beam attacks, like the kamehameha, galick gun, masenko, full power energy beam, etc., some characters can "push" through the attacks. like cooler did in the cooler's revenge movie. the larger charcters(Cooler, Broly[LSS], Bojack [Transformed], Kogu [Transformed], and other "tank" characters can take the hit, which will actually just flow around them, as if it weren't even there. another example is in the Broly: Legendary Super Saiyan movie. when goku shoots a kamehameha into Broly's face after the "smoke clears" Broly stands there unharmed. it should be something like that.Leveling/Powering Up
you level up by entering the Pendilum Room Mode. you play through the story mode with a CAC. or you can use the main characters. as you progress through you gain experience points. typically like an rpg. each naturally earned level gives you a "Z-Point"(similar to Budokai 3). its your decision on where you put that Z-Point. the catagories are:
Health: how many health bars you will have. a total of 50 Z-Points can be equiped here. giving you ten bars of health. character starts with one bar. so each z-point is worth 1/5 of a health bar.
Ki: how many ki bars are available for your charcter to use. once again it equals a total of 50 z-points. giving you ten. each is 1/5 a ki bar. your character already starts with one full bar.
Reserve Ki: determines how many blast one stock you have. a total of 10 can be reached. though you automatically start with 3. a total of 7 z-points are spent here. most fusions and higher transformations require 3 or more. this way your characters aren't reaching max transformation right away. you may have a super transformation equiped to your character, but you won't be able to transform until you reach the number of blast stocks for it. so its like working really hard to acheive the next transformation.
Attack: determines how much damage your physical attacks(kicking and punching) do. your punches start at 50 damage per hit, and when maxed out each punch does 250 damage. 50 z-points can be spent to increase it. therefore each z-point is worth 5 damage.
Attack Ki: this increases the amount of damge dealt by your blast 2 attacks. the starting damage amount for your first(L2, triangle) is 1,500. then at max it will do 10,000. a total of 50 z-points can be spent. each z-point is worth 170 damage. your second(L2, triangle, up) does 5,000 damage. at max it will do 15,000. making each point for the second worth 300 damage points. then the ultimate starts at 12,000 damage. and at max will do 22,000 damage. each point is worth 440 damage in this catagory. that should be right...if my math is correct. and the team attacks do what your ultimate does but then an additional 20%.
Defense: exactly like attack, only kinda backwards. each strike to your character while not blocking is the full 50 damage at first. at the lowest when you character blocks only 30 damage will be done. your defense blocks 40% of the damage. and at max you will block 60% damage. a total of 50 z-points are spent here. each point is worth 2.5%...i think. that can't be right. if anyone know send me a pm about that and i'll change it. ciz i know i'm wrong there.
Speed: 50 are spent here. your speed is already at 50% its max. so each z-point here is worth 10% of your base speed.
Ki Sense: the more you increase this the faster you can lock onto your opponents. total of 50 z-points(big suprise) can be spent here. when it is maxed out you can lock onto your opponents through objects. by doing this you eliminate one of the useless potaras that just take up slots for your character.
Transformations: this option gives you the chance to unlock your transformations, so that you can use them when your Reserve Ki is a high enough level. 50 points are spent here as well. if your character has the max of five transformations. for every 10 z-points you earn one of your transformations.
Max Level: max level your character can be is lvl. 350. but even after your character has reached their max level your power level can continue to go up if you equip potaras like health +15 or anything like that. it won't effect your physical level but your power level can continue to grow.Over the course of the game you may find Z-Points. these do not mean you gain a level. they just give you a free z-point to spend. these are located in places like Hyperbolic Time Chamber, Guru's House, Grandpa Gohan's. there are also a few hidden throughout the dragonball universe. you may also recieve them as rewards for side missions and mini games.

DBZ#1, there are some really cool effects you have there in your suggestion post. I really hope they make it like that. I especially like the clip from the beginning of the Final Bout game where Gohan does a power up burst, and the one where he does that devastating attack. We can only hope buddy. They must listen to us.

What you said about instead of a punching frenzy they should do the mirage battle, I think that's a good idea, but there needs to be a way to incorporate both, because I like the punching frenzy. Maybe:
Mirage Battle
When you rush at each other then you enter the mirage battle. Both characters will disappear and start teleporting so fast you cant see them, and all you will see is the hit explosions, those big white circles. The camera will keep turning and moving to try and keep track of the fight.
To win the sequence, there will be 7 big waves in the mirage battle, and you have to press any button at the exact right time the explosion goes off, so it's like a quick reaction test, whoever is fastest will get the hit in. Now, I know you'll say, why not just mash the button? If you mash the button too much you won't win. The one to lose the most out of 7 hits gets damages and you see him appear and fly out of the sky.
Fist Flurry
This is the same as in Tenkaichi 2, however you must both execute a heavy blow at the same time to trigger this sequence.
Well, tell me what you think and I'll put it in my suggestion document that I'll be posting soon. Credit will go to Majin Eliteas well of course.

The point is with the purpose. Adult Gotenks simply serves as the definite purpose of having an Adult Goten and Trunks. The two still have the ability to fuse, which was denied from participating. But they still could and it would only serve in the interest of those that thought GT could have been better.

hey Teen_Gohan666:), welcome to the forums. ok some of your idea's are alright. but i have to disagree with turles super saiyan levels. turles could never reach super saiyan, sure he's powerful. think about between nappa and vegeta power level, turles is right in the middle of both them. he is strong, but cannot beat vegeta. one more thing, NO AFs means no super saiyan level 5,6 or 7.

I don't think AF really would be entirely a shame. But I do think that it would be a little bit too much in having so many more SSJ transformations and useless fusions between villains.
But I don't think SSJ Raditz, SSJ Bardock, SSJ Nappa, SSJ3 Vegetto, and SSJ3 Gogeta would bring shame to DBZ/GT.

His powerlever was higher due to him being his big brother and because of that he had lived on planet Vegeta with a higher gravity. Raditz was a low class warrior, just like Goku. However, Goku had a far greater potential than Raditz. Vegeta stated himself that Goku was something special. No matter how hard he trained, Goku would always surpass him.
Raditz would not necessarily have gotten stronger. This is a line from the manga "You haven't reached your full power yet, but we need you with us" Raditz said to Goku. Therefore Raditz did apparently believe that he had already reached his maximum potential. The maximum potential of a low class warrior that is.
The legend says that once a thousand years, a legendary super saiyan will be born. Goku is that legend, so is Broly as he was born at the same day. Later on this legend was proved to be false as Vegeta turned into a Super Saiyan himself. However, Raditz is simply a random saiyan. It does not matter that he had the genes of Bardock. It was not his purpose becoming a super saiyan at all. I think Akira Toriyama did wrong in making Super Saiyan forms for Goten and Trunks. Before it was something extremely powerful, but then it somehow turned into a form for every saiyan...which is wrong. Only a very few saiyans have the ability to turn Super Saiyan, and it should stay that way. We got enough of them already:up:

Power Level System
On the subject of power level systems, I was working on one of the most accurate of all (or at least it seems so). It's very confusing, and I haven't had time to work it out, but the basic idea is:
OK, say you have Vegeta, PL 18,000, V.S Hercule, PL 48. Hercule's stats are:
Attack: 1
Defence: 1
Speed: 1
Etcetera: 1
While Vegeta's become:
Attack: 99
Defence: 99
Speed: 99
Etcetera: 99 ((Note that 99 is the maximum for stats.))
When Vegeta fights Frieza (PL 530,000), however, his stats become:
Attack: 1
Defence: 1
Speed: 1
Etcetera: 1
Like Hercule's.
The point of this system is comparison. If you fight someone a million times stronger than you, your stats are pathetic. If you pummel someone weaker than you, your stats are fantastic. Here's an idea of how the difference would be judged:
Saiko has a PL of 1,000. She fights Miko who has a PL of 1,400. Saiko's stats are:
Attack: 3
Defence: 3
Speed: 3
Etcetera: 3
vs. stats of:
Attack: 5
Defence: 5
Speed: 5
Etcetera: 5
This is because Miko is two Strength Levels above Saiko. Strength Levels judge the difference between opponents -- the stronger ones have every stat increased by an amount equal to the number of Strength Levels they have over their enemy. You get Strength Levels over your opponent by having a certain amount of power more than him/her.
With the fight with Saiko and Miko, 200 was the required amount to have a Strength Level over Saiko, for example.

Now, two opponents with the same PL (1,000) fight. Both have stats of:
Attack: 3
Defence: 3
Speed: 3
Etcetera: 3
Now two Hercules Fight (PL 48). Stats are:
Attack: 1
Defence: 1
Speed: 1
Etcetera: 1
The reason for this is that naturally low levelled characters (like Hercule) have a low Base Level for stats, while a powerful character (like SSJ4 Vegeto) would have a very high Base Level (to a maximum of 99). The Base Level is what all stat differences are based off (as the name would imply). A character with one Strength level over another, would have all stats go over his Power Category's Base Level by one.
Whenever a character gets to a certain power level, their Power Category goes up. At this event, the character's Base Level goes up by one, and his opponents need to have an even larger gap in power for them to have a Strength Level over that character. So, anyone want to give feedback for my power level system?

I think they should rather just set a custom level for every character you will face in the story mode. After that you will have to work at every character in order to level them up. No need to make it more complicated than it needs to be ;)

I agree with most of Omids post, make everyone move/punch/fire blasts much faster. But even if the levels are 10x bigger, blue ray still wont be that necessary (And even if it was, what if it's multi platform?)
And you say the BT games have thee worst gameplay? Do you really want to go back to a 2D landscape with cancel combos? The ability to move in a full 3D environment is a far greater experience IMO

as for bardock...i'm really not sure. i guess i'd have to say no because bardock kicks ass anyway...
bardock should, instead of a ssj form, have a non bandanna form and a bandanna form. the non bandanna form is obviously his normal state while the bandanna form is him really pissed off after his friends die (the bandanna's red comes from his dead friends' blood). but then when i think like that...bardock could become a ssj with that kind of anger...whatever, im still saying no ssj.
and also i just thought of this. i havnt played BT2 far enough to know but does Turles have a "eat fruit of tree of might" form? because if he doesn't BT3 should have it. without that form, Turles will seem too much of a minor character (even if he sort of is).
I like that ideas very much. A alternative to SSJ Bardock and SSJ Turles. A great idea.
What do u think about it?

Kamiccolo Ideas Feedback
You have really put a lot of effort into this document. First I thought that there was going to be a lot of images when it had 56 pages, but surprisingly enough, it nearly had none.
Layout:
You choose to make it with a black background and an orange frame around the text. I am not so fond of the frame, as it pushes the text far too much to the right. It also looks quite boring with no pictures and just orange colored headlines. I know this can be improved;)

Story Mode:
You decided to take away the RPG part and replace it with cutscenes. You also wrote that every character would have their own story line. I am not sure if this would work. They need to follow the main story line, or else it would had been very confusing. I also do not think cutscenes alone will be enough. They might have failed on creating a good RPG so far, but I think they should give it another attempt. This time they should however make it a lot more flexible. Take a look at part 5 of my project when it releases, for more information:up:

Mini Games should however get unlocked through the story mode. Level Capsules are not directly good either. They should just be random exclusive capsules popping up.

That is nearly impossible for the developers to achieve. You included all the henchmen and other low priority characters. So even though it is based on my original list, I cannot give this one a good grade.

Again, this is a very unrealistic list. You put 10 alternate outfits for some of the characters. I think that 3 should be the standard.

You wrote 16 pages for all the menus, while I managed to keep it down to 9 pages. And I did also have more modes in my list;) But keep on the good work mate:D

It's a suggestion on something new. And episodes are much better than them attempting to make a corny rpg element.

Arcade mode is just that mode that they have now in Ultimate Battle mode where you climb up the ranks of different groups of fighters. Don't know what you criticized there buddy.

Ok, bottom line on your bottom line. I could have criticized down to the point on your suggestion list, but I realize it's just a suggestion list!
Heck, so is all of ours. I'm not telling them how they're going to do it. I'm popping ideas into their head because they can't see a lot of this for themselves.
No offense, but your suggestions are too much in detail to things that are as plain as day. So it's almost like your attempting to make it for them.
My lists, especially my arena list, is just putting it all on their plate, and they can choose whether they eat it or not. I'm not force feeding them.
However, I accept your opinions. (and on a side note, there didn't need to be flashy pictures, that would just make it longer. I mean, they all know what a PS3 looks like over at Atari :p. And it was already 50 pages, and it was already 20MB.)

What a waste of time this has been if that scan they found is real! PS2? It doesn't look any better. And they couldn't make it too much ACTION PACKED than the last because your PS2 would blow up.

The new BT3 is for PS2.
Anyway, I don't really care about the graphics...
It is the fighting engine and the gameplay that matter.

The battles won't look too much better in way of character graphics, arena graphics and explosions and beams etc. Any more action on the screen will cause the game to lag even more horribly than it does now. The frame rate for T2 on PS2 was very low compared to Budokais. It was hard to look at sometimes.
I really hope it comes out on PS3.

I know how you feel. All that time and they are already into developing it. I just hope they heard our really cool ideas and actually USED THEM. Unlike what they did with a lot of us telling them to make it for PS3.

Well, they at least seemed to have taken the idea of locking onto the moon to transform into an Oozaru. Think of it this way, since the last tenkaichi almost maxed out the PS2, and this one probably will, then the next one will HAVE to be for the PS3 (theoretically), and everyone who can't afford it now might be able to afford it then.
Also, they might already be devloping the one for the PS3, and just decided to make Tenkaichi 3 while it's being developed.
Not definite, but we might just be so lucky.

They're all good in different ways.
Dragonball has the best story and is the funniest out of the lot.
Dragonball Z had th best fighting and best bad guys and a really good story.
Dragonball GT had some bad ass ad guys like Omega Shenron. But had a crappy story.
I like the HUD as well, I "dig" it, as someone said.;)

hey, just found this thread, ive watched dbz for years and have all the games.
adventure mode needs improving and you should be able to go along with any story instead of sticking to the same **** all the time, or at least what if scenarios.
next we need more detailed effects, eg when you get punched where is the blood? instead all we get is mucky and cut when the match is nearly over, thats a bit crap really.
there should be way more techniques, for example now we have 2 faves and 2 finishers, and we access them by pressing l2 and circle etc, well we have four directions on a dpad so why not fill them up, every character has at least 4 techniques you see them use in the show, and whats with those rush atacks why does almost everyone have one. i couldnt believe they missed out piccolos masonko attack.
Transformations, in my opinion at the moment they slow things down, you should be able to just press and BAM, this is a fighting game, the last thing you wanna do is give your opponent time to take in that you just got stronger, its like saying yeah now lets wait a sec and now lets go again.
Its the same with some of the attacks, why the hell does it stop the action, lock on the character and then release, it gives your opponent too much time to prepare.
I definitely agree with power level ideas and i think they are essential, the super dragonball z level ups were ok but you should be able to fight henchmen and spar and stuff to get your power level up, power levels are a mssive part of dbz and they should be in it. If you go back to the gameboy game, dragonball z gokutuuden 2(Something like that) then the plevel system works ok there, the more you hold down your attack the more energy goes in, and your power reading goes up.
I think that if you dont have a scouter that you should only be able to see your own pl on your side of the screen, if you have a scouter then you can see both yours and your opponents pl's.
Finally 3 things, make maps larger and have more of them, eg gokus house, king kaid planet, etc. more destructible environments, craters etc. and last of all, the edit character section. take a look at super dragonball z, u can edit name, and colour/costume of your character and even select someone elses special, i think you should be able to edit name and clothing of any character, add 2 specials form any other character to any character and you should be able to edit features like clothing, clothing colour, and even add or remove clothing, or better yet just chuck in create a character mde for us.
Ah one last thing, for tag battles/free battles give us more slots, up to 8 - 10 teammates would be better, and when u tag out, just get the next guy straight in, dont bother zooming in and watching them fly off, make em vanish/fly off but faster so it doesnt stop the action, like goku says "see ya" does a jumping back flip and piccolo jumps in, this way you could give people team attacks or even give any character specific team attacks.

a weather change option would be cool don't you think? I would like a weather change option. The weather of a stage can change alot of stuff.
Imagine Kami's tower at night with the clouds below it stormy? Can't you see? We need emotion in the weather for an even bigger impact on the fight.
This is an awesome idea that should be made. For the Wii, they can use the Forecast Channel for the weather patterns near your city. For PS2, since they don't have a channel like this, they can implement the system's clock and when you play a stage, the stage will change.

I think all 3 of my scenarios would work really great if they tried, and they would be pretty interesting to the fans of the series since it would really just be expanding on the story instead of changing it. I think the games from here on out should be designed soley for a Japanese audience. The previous PS2 games seem too Americanized. Taken away from the entire feel of the series. You see in games like Naruto Narutimett Hero the games that came out before US recognition is full of Japanese pop culture, but now that it has become popular in the US and the rest of the world the entire series is being made "safe" and universal for the rest of the world. I feel that the Dragon Ball franchise should keep its 80s Japanese zing rather than trying to please the rest of the world like the US producers want it to do.

First of all, "SPIKE"
The game Dragon Ball Z Budokai: Tenkaichi 2 is so far good up to this point. Dragon Ball Z Budokai: Tenkaichi 3 should have everything that DBT2 has, and I mean Everything. Combat list, Moves, Characters, Modes, Options and so forth...that way the game can be picked up where it left off.
3 things! for the game to improve "SPIKE" this should at least make Dragon Ball Z Budokai: Tenkaichi 3 move up a score from an 8.8 to atleast a 9.2 average
which I would consider the best Dragon Ball Z game made by far From "SPIKE"
1. Transformations
In the Previous game BT2, Transformations were to sudden. This time, try taking your time creating transformations to make it more realistic. For instance, DBT2 Goku's kaioken Technique, the way how Goku transformed "During Game Play" it should be like that for "all" transformations. Nevertheless in their own unique way. (Example, When they all "FIRST" transformed/Gohan/Piccolo/Trunks/Goku) There should not be any more cut scene or movies scene when a character is transforming, but rather it be when they transform it should be during gameplay like the kaioken technique. furthermore, when they transform, as far as sayians goes, try to take your time designing some realistic hair movement from turning black to gold and some lighting/thunderstorm and aura around them as they transform. (Example: we look back at how when goku was slashed by freeza 2 of the most deadliest discs in the face,at that particular moment when goku had transformed did you see the way how his hair was so "wavy like" transforming into a super sayian.) This should be a good idea for you "SPIKE". Nevertheless, lets not forget the apes as well.
2. Mini games/More moves
In the Previous game DBT2, the game was said to have 5 moves per fighter. To be honest SPIKE, I was a little upset on the fact that Goku Super Saiyan 3 didn't have some combat fighting special moves. For instance, Super Explosive wave?! that's a waste of a move, in fact it's very cheap at getting around your opponents as well. I was expecting a lot from Goku super sayain 3 more like some fighting hard hitting damage moves. So overall, try to take your time extending the special moves for each fighter to 6 moves at least. If it is not possible, the least you can do is input the "Best moves" for the fighters; Not no Super Exposive wave but still do not count that move out of the game though. So please take your time to create ideas "SPIKE" watch some dbz sagas and movies to get ideas for the fighters in the game. If there is not enough space to put all this in the game memory, then go further "SPIKE" and create another Disc. If the game Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 needs 2 Disc then let it be so. Next, I want to talk about the mini games. Try taking your time inputing some minigames that makes the Dbz gamer fans feel like they're watching a saga. Here is an example for you SPIKE and creators,
"Namek Destruction"
Create a time limit for Goku to Escape Planet Namek, finding a spaceship and high tailing out of there. Make the spaceship difficult to find, this way it can create a challenge for our gamers. make Goku's sense high and alert when he is trying to find the spaceship to know where he is going. Try making his heart beat pump fast as he panics to find a way out. This is just an idea for you "SPIKE" Ideas, Ideas, Ideas!!
From the beginning of Dragon ball Z to Dragon Ball Gt, all the z fighters that had to go through a final shot to defeat their enemies; let that be a mini game for us to challenge. such as when Goku and vegeta did their Kamehameha and Galic Gun blasting at each other, let that be a minigame. Ideas, Ideas, Ideas!!
3. Soundtracks
In the previous game DBT2, the soundtracks were great. In fact, the tracks blend in with the type of fighting game such as DBT2. BUT, there are some tracks in DBT2 such as those "ring around the circus" tracks or "My little pony" tracks that should not be in the game! what so ever. SPIKE, this is Dragon Ball Z not Dragon Flower Seeds, so please put some motivating combat soundtracks that makes the battle intense and fun. There is nothing wrong inputing the Offical Dragon Ball Z Soundtracks in as well. This should boost up the gameplay as well, Such as the Buu saga tracks, or The History of Trunks saga track, or nevertheless the fight between Goku and jeice/burter soundtrack. all these ideas should come into handy for your next installment.
So in short, Please take your time creating this game, watch some movies and sagas and get some ideas from the creator himself, Akria Toriyama. I hope the ideas I had typed above can give you a little boost to create this game!

What if characters:
1-Majuubhan(majuub +tienshinhan)-Fusion
2-Majin tenshinhan uses majin power to keep up with the sayans or to defeat/fight piccolo or Dabura i mean vegeta and goku are rivals why not tien and piccolo.Piccolo must pay for chaozu death in the past lol.
Spopovitch yamu and vegeta could use it why not tien ???Tien is bald like yamu right and he always wanted to stay stronger .
3-a story mode about tien's alien race maybe they can have some kind of transformation a super 3 eyes warrior.
Edit colours mode.
Switch combos and techniques between the characters ex:Videl has some great combos i would like to use them with another characters.A Combo with tien clones would be awesome too or four arms combo or Kousengan.
Finnaly Tien with kaioh ken, guys tien has the copy eye remember and he trained during a year with king kai,this is the last chance, please let him use kaioh ken this time,if some people call these games fan service please do it only this time.I think bandai (or some producers)hates tien that is the only reason they only gave him 1 outfit or put him out of the games like super dbz and refuse to give him kaioh ken which in fact he possesses.
Tien with 3 outfits and with cape however keep the green strap custom with yellow socks coz it is the best and add the buu saga outfit with cape and the out fit with brown cape tien used when goku became super sayan 3

Bandai or atari should make a tribute for tien's seiyuu Mr. Hirotaka Suzuoki and honestly i think my suggestions for tienshinhan are a good way to do it.
This game needs a majin tenshinhan.
More speed man, bartha is so fast he is the fastest warrior maybe the others should increase the speed to reach his level too bartha speed is fantastic,at least pikkon without weights should have the same speed. My favourite new characters are Kogu/Gokuha(base and super)and Bido(bojack's minions) general rilld and Hatchayack and Redic from dbgt .Small slug without helmet and pikkon without weights. Yamcha long hair with weights outfit(sayan saga).
Chiaozu with buu's saga outfit with cape.
Lord slug must be faster , man he is so slow
About the sayans the game is already perfect.

Capsule System
Budokai 3 invented a new way of customizing your characters. But many players didn't like the fact that you couldn't have all their abilities equipped at once. In Tenkaichi 2, your finishing moves were already set when you obtained a character. This made it impossible for you to customize the character, as you could in Budokai 3.
My capsule system will be a lot more complicated than the one we had in Tenkaichi 2. But still really easy to navigate through. My vision was to create a capsule system that is easy to use, but still allows you to fully customize your character. By combining the engine from both Budokai 3 and Tenkaichi 2, I have managed to create something that is in my opinion, the ultimate Capsule System.
The Different Capsules:
Instead of having only a single type of capsules, my system is based on 3 different types. This way, you can balance the set-up for each character perfectly, without any annoying weak-spots.
Ability - Finishing Moves, Ultimate Move and Generic Moves for anybody to equip.
Transformations - New forms, transformations and fusion.
Enhancements - Unique enhancements for some characters exclusively.
The Capsule Tray:
The capsule tray will be different from the one we know in Budokai 3 and Tenkaichi 2. As there will be separate defined slots allocated for specific types of capsules. These will be marked with different colors, such as red for ability, blue for transformations and green for enhancements. Another important difference, is that each character's capsule tray different to each other, giving them advantages in some areas, or simply making up for the lack of another area.
The Capsule Tray Layout:
As each character will have a different set-up for the capsule tray, the look of the capsule tray remains the same. Basically, a capsule tray will look like this:

Q: Why does this set-up look nearly exact the same as Kamiccolo's system?
A: The reason for this is simple. I made the original capsule system a long time ago. Kamiccolo and I have borrowed each other ideas in order to make the best ideas. So what you might have thought was all Kamiccolo's work, might just as well be based on my original work and visa versa:up: But we also have our disagreements about the capsule system. So things will be more different as you continue to read.
Customization:
The text above explains how the capsule tray will look originally. However, this is how a character's system tray will look like:

As you can see, the last two Enhancement slots are blocked. In order to unlock these, you will have to equip an Enhancement Slot +2 capsule. The reason for this is that the characters should be limited to not use all the slots. This means that you will constantly see blocked slots for the characters.
The blocked slots are mostly affected by the character itself. Goku is a perfect example for this. He got a lot of abilities and transformations, so therefore the number of enhancement slots are reduced. This is just for keeping a balance between all the characters. Some characters do not have many abilities, but have 5 enhancement slots unlocked.
NOTE: Each character will have their capsule tray preset once their unlocked.
Customization 2 - Upgrading:
Now you know how the system tray works in practice. But there are still some things that is important to be aware off.
- Upgrading Abilities The standard amount of for each character are three finishing moves and one ultimate blast. So you will most likely not be able to equip all 7 ability slots. Well, unless you equip some moves twice that is. If you do equip the same move for a character twice, then the move will get more powerful and devastating. Some moves will also combine into a new powerful move. For an instance, if you equip Goku with Spirit Bomb twice, then it will evolve into a two-slot demanding Super Spirit Bomb.
- Upgrading Through Transforming
Some moves do also upgrade themselves if you transform into a new form. For an instance, Goku's Kaioken Attack upgrades to Super Kaioken Attack as a Super Saiyan. Then it will become more powerful, but still only demand a single slot.
Customization 3 - Transformations:
This is one of the biggest differences from Tenkaichi 2 and Budokai 3. Each character will have a specific number of transformation slots available. By equipping a transformation, you will automatically obtain new moves for that form. Now comes the tricky part. Once a transformation is unlocked, you can configure the standard moves. The standard moves are the abilities the character automatically receives when it unlocks a new form.
By tapping [] at the transformation capsule, you will be taken to a menu called the transformation menu. Here you can replace the standard moves with others. However, it is important to note that you may only equip moves from earlier forms. You can equip kamehameha to SSJ4 Goku, but you cannot equip 10x Kamehameha to base Goku. You may also not configure other types of capsules while in this process. All enhancement and transformation capsules can only be set in base form:o
Here is a preview of how Goku's standard moves can be replaced:

Notice the upgrades from previous moves. Kaioken Attack turns into Super Kaioken Attack and Spirit Bomb turns into Spirit Bomb Absorption. When you first unlock the new form, you might not have obtained all his/her moves. Therefore you might later on tap an option called Optimise in order to equip the best moves available. You can see how the last two empty slots have been equipped with newly obtained moves for SSJ Goku.
Last Words:
I think that this system could actually be quite good in Tenkaichi 3. You would be able to customize your moves a lot more flexible, but still have an easy set-up to follow. The game already offers everything that is needed in order to accomplish this. The difference between Kamiccolo's and my system, is that Kamiccolo wants there to be only a few moves for each character, that have to evolve by transforming into a new form. I think that this is wrong, as it will mean that there would be less moves for each character. They have already made new moves for each form, so why not take advantage of them?;)

In my opinion, In order for the game to be great, they need to improve the cpu difficulty. I personally found BT2 quite easy.

First of all, I would just like 2 say i ain gonan post no pics or nothin, i just gonna post ideas, since a lotta people say they like my suggestions, i hope they will b liked enough 2 make it in the game...
1. Stages - Arenas should have battle affects, such as if u send an opponent flying into a tower, there should be a cut scene of him / her flying into the building, dusting him self off, and flying out, or simply flying through the building. Each time, a different cutscene shows an action, after a certain amount of times, the object through which flown through break apart (only 4 regular size characters, not no giants)
2. New arenas, such as Outer Space, with floating rocks as land. The planets on which vegeta trained on, while trying 2 get SSJ, or even the chamber in which Vegeta trained in on Earth while trying 2 get SSJ, 4get the name, but it was inside the ship, the gravity room.
3. Capsules used for characters, move capsules, Example, goku, = Kamehameha, Dragon Fist, Solar Flare, Rush Attack, Spirit Bomb, Super Spirit Bomb, 10x Kamehameha, Final Explosion (move he was about to use on Super 17), or any other moves used, just put the capsules, have the limit of 5 at a time per character, and unlock the moves for them as u progress the game, and have the ability to Cuztomize ur characters own set of moves. This is actualy a popular request, and has been 4 a while.
4. Cutscene combos, such as when after a certain sequence of buttons pressed, a cuscene will show the character perfoming the combo. Example, punch, punch, kick, kick, triangle, = the character attacking goes into a beserk attacking rage and lands 20 or something punches and kicks in super speed, harder then that combos though, lol
5. More ' What If ' Storylines, a LOT more, there should be more of them then there are of sagas, and make them more unique, no bad guys gone good or something, although i loved the raditz on good side though. Ideas: Krillin Begins cheating on 18 with another girl or something, or Bad guys forming a tag team, such as janemba + Frieza + what ever other bad guys have tails, find a way to revive them selves and start slowly killing all the warriors on earth. somwhere at the end, Tag team about to die, and Janemba + Frieza fuse to fight.
6. What If Characters, such as janemba (final) + Frieza (final) or super buu + Super 17, random stuff like that, and unique new moves for each fusion.
7. The characters have more transformation options, such as pui - pui = desperation mode, or what if fusions especialy for the characters that dun have a transformation yet. Its more fun when the character ur playing with, no matter who, can transform higher.

I like for them to use the auras effects from b3 with the ki bars and everything...but a new feature I'd like for them to add in this game or probably the ps3 is when you power up your hair and your clothes shift back and forth depending on how many ki bars you have.
Like with goku when he powered up his hair swayed and it stood up...I'd like to see that for every character with hair. Also, when you transform into a super saiyan I'd like that sound you know the tree,tree,tree..........sound. Super Dbz had it this game can too. And for the useless characters a solution I have is to include them in story mode only, so they don't take up important character space,like rest of bojacks henchmen, and maybe the other henchmen.
Gokuu could be playable but not bujin and bido. Also fix the sound effects there not explosive at all. That smack sound is whack...........you know when they punch each other..... Please get rid of the generic moves and focus on giving characters a more complete movelist.
I love the idea of bringing back the capsule system, I think that always gave me a better feeling of customization then having all the moves at once.

Here are my ideas for part 3 of the Budokai series.
- I know your adding 20 something new characters, that's great. And there will be like 20 or so levels which is also good.
- Character selections: When playing in duel mode the characters should be broken up into sagas, they are somewhat in DBZ BT2 but not well enough. Have a Saiyan Saga section with all the characters from that saga with their corresponding outfits. The reason being if my friend and I want to recreate the 1st battle between Goku and Vegeta, the Goku in DBZ BT2 is WAY stronger than the Vegeta from the Saiyan Saga (one with the scouter). So basically have a Goku for every Saga of the series, however you wanna break it down (this goes for all characters). Saiyan Saga, Frieza Saga, Cell, Buu, GT older and younger versions. Make sure though that the Goku from the Saiyan Saga can't go SS though, he should only be able to power up to Kaio Ken x5 or x10 whatever his max was. For Frieza Goku should only be able to go SS, Cell he can go SS2, and Buu he can go SS3. This way when people duel characters they are more close in level (both normal and custom forms)
- Costumes: Now say I picked Krillin from the Freiza Saga, there should be the version (orange gi, blue undershirt and kung fu shoes) (orange gi, no blue undershirt with kung fu shoes) (and of course Krillin in the Saiyan armor) Other examples: Vegeta from the Cell Saga should also have the pink shirt (that says BADMAN on the back) and yellow pants available. Veteta from the Frieza saga should have a tail and scouter, and a version without the tail and scouter. Gohan from the Cell Saga should have the Saiyan armor he trained in, the white kung fu shirt and black pants. Gohan from the Saiyan Saga should have the yellow and green outfit etc... You get the idea. Basically any and every outfit they wore in the show should be available in the game (within the correct saga they wore it in).
- Costume Selections: One thing that really bugged me in DBZ BT2 is that when you wanted to pick a different costume for a guy you would get options like 1, 2, 3 and you wouldn't be able to see what it looked like until you started playing. If I pick Goku from the Frieza Saga, he should have different viewable costumes so I know which one I pick before I play. Once again same goes for all characters.
- Online Play: For the love of God and everything that is holy PLEASE PLEASE make this game online!
- Wii Movements: I am under the impression that there will be more movements for special blast moves in the game. GOOD IDEA! It needs more. For instance the Spirit Bomb, to do this move hold B+Z move both hands over your head, release B and Z as you "throw" the bomb at your opponent. Things like that, try and emulate the actual movements of the characters into the game.
- Other moves: Ok, when an opponent does the special rush attack there should be more button combinations to it. Let me explain... When a character does one of their major attacks that are hand to hand combinations rather than a blast. Say Android 17 for example, his move like a lot of other people is he juggles you in the air with a bunch of kicks, and finishes it with one really hard strike sending you into the ground. These moves are too easy to pull off and too hard to block and or dodge. So I suggest that like from God of War when he attacks a boss there are certain buttons that flash up that you must push in the correct order in order to do the move correctly. So each time 17 does a kick there should be a different button to push in order to pull off the entire combination. And each time you do the move the button combinations would be different. This would make doing moves MUCH more difficult as well as having a much greater reward because people probably wouldn't be able to pull it off every single time they try it. Also for moves like that that have the small cinemas incorporated into them there should be a few different camera angles to each one, change it up a little bit.
- Levels: Levels should not have boundaries anymore. Make sure to include areas like King Kai's Planet, maybe the spaceship with the gravity machine in it. And the Other World Tournament. Add that cool city that the Z fighters fight Broly in when they first meet, that would be awesome. Plus all the different areas from the Bojack movie.
- RPG Element: I like the overall scheme of customizing your characters. Personally I try to make each guy as strong as they were in the show, I don't like maxing out each guy because maxing out Guldo to level 165 is highly unrealistic in the realm of DBZ.
- Characters: Just so we're clear, hopefully you'll be adding the Spice Boys, the rest of Bojacks crew, the rest of the Androids, Bardocks crew, some Freiza henchmen, more Majin guys like Pui Pui and that large green Yamu (I think that was his name) guy. Anyone who fought in the show or movies should be in this game.
- That's about all I can think of for now. I really hope you guys take some of this to heart and really try to incorporate this into the new game. Anyway that just my 2 cents, enjoy.

And I think they need to take out melee it really sucks! And anyone think they should bring back the kick button? Also, keep the combat list from tenkaichi 2 but enhance it. Also, you know what I liked about b3? You had a chance to train and master you characters moves that was cool . T2 or t1 didn't allow you to do that because it had melee. Whelp lets here some feedback and your ideas maybe Spike will use it for the game.
Think about it most people want the characters to be individual if they take moves from the show then they will be individual. Plus new moves, I'm talking about combo moves not just beam attacks. To me melee is to general even for 150 characters

Try to Get the Z-sword- that is a good one for me Gohan
Dogde/thoright the rocks-Gohan and Goten when they are practicing(Dont care spelling) for the world tournament
For me Tenkachi 3 is suppsot to have diferents things,( No fighting all the time)
I just want to give my idea. I used as a reference what Mr. Popo (the user, not the character in the series, lol) said in his post and, with his permission I'll put it here
Creata A Character
When I started playing the game, I thought that I could REALLY have my own fighter. But when I noticed that it was just for trading codes to have some characters with Z items I got dissapointed. So, my very big wish is to have a BT3 with a create a character with this options
General info 1st:
- Choose race. (Namekian/Saiyan/Human/Android/Kai)
- Choose gender. (Female/Male/Non)
- Choose Hero or villian.
Appareance 2nd:
- Heigh: In centimeters or inches/feet. Wouldn't mind which of those 2 units of mesaure (This will not affect in the characters strength)(If the character is too small, he/she will tkae the body of a kid, but he/she will still have the chance to have all sorts of body type)
- Body type: I would put Slim (like Super 17 or Super Buu), Muscles(like most guys such as Goku, Gohan, Yamcha and so on) Very big Muscles (Like Super Vegeta or Super Trunks, LSSJ Broly or Bojak), Chubby and Fat (like Majin Buu). All of these characteristics wouldn't mean more/less strength, but maybe would affect on speed (being big muscle characters and fat ones a little slower than the other ones) and also, the size would be proporcional to the height.
- Choose hair (facial hair also for men), face and skin color.
- Choose clothes and additionals.
- Voices: At least, 3 or 4 different types of voices for each race and gender
Transformations, weapon and Attacks 3rd:
- Transformation. (Saiyan*-SS, USS OR SS2 and Great Ape (All transformations ar optional)) (Namekian-Giant form) (Human-FULL Power) (Android-Fusion)
- Weapon. (Z-Sword Ex)
- Choose the different sets of moves for your character
- Choose two Blast 2 and one Ultimate Blast(If the character has some common blasts like full power energy wave or high speed rush, it would be fun if you could edit those names to something you would like (for example, instead of full power energy wave, the attack will appear with the name of Dave's Smashing Wave in the corner were the attack's name appear).
- I would also think that could be a good idea to have fusions (just with the fusion dance) between 2 created characters.
* For Saiyans I would just allow up to SSJ2 because if we get the character to a very high level it would be an hyper duper dude better than Gogeta SSJ4 in stats, and that is not a very good idea in my opinion. Also, I think that it could be possible to have a saiyan with tail that can transform into SSJ and a great ape (for example, if I want to turn into SSJ2 I would move the analog stick and press 1, ussing 2 blast stocks, in the case i'm playing with the wiimote and nunchuk, and for a greate ape, I would have to move the analog stick to the right and use 3 blast stocks)
Hope you like the ideas and that the Atari people read them and add these suggestions to the DBZ: BT3 game.
If this thing of create a character happends, I would definitley buy the game

Good game by the way, I own with Itachi. Anyway you are basically saying you want to bring back Dragon Rush from B3. Thats basically what it was but on much shorter basis. I agree 100%.

Dragon Rush was too freaking cheap. We have rushes, which are already bad enough.

1) Noy every character should have High Speed Rush.
2) Every character should have it's own special moves that occured in the show.
3)Make the Dragon Ball Story more interesting.Like a free roming and exploring before and after the battle.Chat with other characters.
Otherwise everything is pretty coooooool.:D

Personally I'd like more freedom than b3 because that got old doing the three button sequences over and over. They could mix it up and incorpate it into regular game play. And give you options like chaining to combos or something cool like that...anyway thanks for giving me some feedback.
On another note here are some attacks some characters are missing.
Majin Buu gotenks absorbed
1.change galatic donuts -into a favorite technique so you can combine it super kamehameha if you want. And the number of donuts you use depends on how many favorite technique numbers you have. Like if you have one you shoot one donut and so on.
2.Super kamehameha- pink one.
3. Super ghost kamikaze attack- one ghost though.
4. I think all buu's need the roll up ball attack -except Majin buu fat.
5.Special beam cannon-but more like how he did it in the show.
Majin Buu Gohan Absorbed
1. Galatic donut -as a favorite technique he used them when he fought vegeta and goku but now you can shoot more and red this time.
2. That huge pink energy ball -he used against Veggetto as an Ultimate
3. Super Kamikaze attack -this time you can make more of them maybe like 10 but they all can shoot kamehameha's and masenko beams so maybe 5 of them shoot kamehameha's and other masenko. The blast should follow you.
4. Roll up ball attack.
5.Super Kamehameha attack- bigger and still pink Ultimate 1.
6.Candy beam -as a favorite technique though.
Note- I think when you use techniques like Galatic donuts chained with super kamehameha the opponent should have a chance to escape from the donuts by pressing button commands. If he looses then you blast him with the combined force of both attacks. If wins he escapes but you still can fire the kamehameha.

welcome to the forums, King Chiaotzu. your idea is ok, but why all the kai's. it does'nt make sense to put all of them, when the only one who really fights was supreme kai. the rest of them didn't really fight at all, correct me if i am wrong.

3 button sequence? That depends on how good you are at the game. Anyway needless to say I agree with the mirage battle but like the generic teleport rush attack in BT2 its all controlled with the CPU so it will only be good to look at but thats all.

welcome to the forums, King Chiaotzu. your idea is ok, but why all the kai's. it does'nt make sense to put all of them, when the only one who really fights was supreme kai. the rest of them didn't really fight at all, correct me if i am wrong.
I think you are talking about the Supreme Kais (Kaioshins in Japonese), sorry if i am wrong. They appear fighting Kid Buu in a flashback of Kibitoshin...with them we can recreate the past, and extend the story mode. We see them fighting more than King Vegeta and Cold...

Alright so i've been a DBZ fan for my whole life and need to let this out. I want to let the atari staff know what should be in the game and what most gamers want.
First off More characters is always the way to go. I want all the characters that any hero fought. Like garlic juniors men, a few of frieza's men, etc..
I want there to be more namek levels. There is just one level for namek but it should be. There should be at least 2. One could be the one you have in Tenkaichi 2 and another could be Guru's House. Another could be just a village.
More effects in the game are great. Make little ditches form when someone fires an attack at the ground or when someone flys into the ground. Also maybe when Zarbon fires that Elegant Blaster make it so it has that A-Bomb explosion like in the show. I don't want a cut scene for it, just a big explosion. Another effect people want is when someone is in the water their hair will go up. Better effects make the game really fun.
OH WAIT ONE MORE EFFECT: Make it so if you shoot a kamehameha at a building make it so theres a hole in it. Don't make it be destroyed unless it is a bigger one. And when Buildings blow up make more rubble because most disapears.
More levels can include places such as Space, Planet Vegeta, Planet Cannassa, Under Kami's lookout. ALSO READ THIS: Make it so that you can go higher up in stages because Some people might just want to air battle and their is not much room for it, like at kami's lookout in Tenkaichi2 their is a air space but there is a barrier at the bottom so it's weird.
I have more ideas but this is the major points. ALSO: Don't make the Japanese version Different from American Versions. We all want the same thing.
I hope you read this and make these changes. I hope Tenkaichi 3 is awesome. :up:

Hmmm........ More characters and stages are good, but what this game really needs is far greater. You see, every time they add a new character, it's harder to make it seem unique from the rest of them fighting wise. Well, I've solved that problem(i posted this idea in T3: Return of the E.S.S). It basically involves the skill system of B3, but these skills are more exclusive, and are almost all based on the race of the character(see the topic in bold for complete details). It's not like z items used to lv up the character, in fact, another one of my ideas involves a B3-like leveling up system as well. the lvs should go much higher, however, and there should be more features to lv up(like knockback resistance, knockback power, attack speed, etc). This will add many more options for the game, and it will give password fights more variety.

My friend, just to add some more info, they appear in the episode that Kid Buu destroy the earth.
The Kaioshins are:
West Kaioshin - A girl, the first to be killed by Kid Buu
South Kaioshin - A Muscular Guy, the stronger one, the first to be absorbed by Kid Buu - Kid Buu turns a very Muscular form after this ( http://content.answers.com/main/content/wp/en/thumb/9/95/150px-Buff_buu.jpg - one of the transformations that i wish).
North Kaioshin - He seems to be old, but he uses the Z-Sword in fight :D
Dai Kaioshin - The most important Kaioshin, he is fat. Muscular Buu absorb him and turns in the Fat Buu. In his image (in the link below) you can see his clothes, the same of Fat Buu.

ok good. we have more characters. um, could goku and vegeta turn ss4 without choosing them in that state, cause i was really looking forward to transforming into ss4. and please do not make 4 vegetas just 2. vegeta with scouter and vegeta. vegeta should have ss, super vegta, ss2, majin, then ss4 instead of putting them into different characters.
atari staff members could u make the game like one entire stage. what i mean is that EG. if u pick kamis lookout, when u go off, u should be ablle to fly down instead of just floating there and end up figthing in the city instead of just kamis lookout. i hope there is no more walls blocking us from flying away cause i want to be able to go anywhere in 1 stage. i was fighting at the islands and i wish i could of flew to the rocky moutains or the ice place or even the city. so i wish u guys could do that a lot of DBZ FANS r goin to love.

Do not write stuff like that when you do not have a clue:weird: All the members that have been here since the start of Feb would at least know the number of characters we will get. 20 new, transformations included. So why are you making such a large foolish wishlist, when you already know it is impossible? Marby (a mod) already made a thread named "Think twice before posting a new thread" which obviously haven't kept you from post useless ideas in a new thread, instead of just posting it in the official thread. But either way, I will be honest to say that those ideas are some of the worst I have seen. So I wouldn't count or replies such as "Look at my ideas! Everyone want them in!".

Moves That Some Characters are missing.
Vegeta Second Form Super Saiyan 2
Energy Hug- Needs the attack he did against Majin Buu Gohan Absorbed the one were he shoots like 20 energy blasts and they all fall on the opponent.
Goku Super Saiyan Four
Dragon Fist Swirl- Needs the Dragon Fist he used on Ice Shenron the one where it wrapes around the city and slams on the opponent.
Omega Shenron
Needs the attacks he used from all the Dragons because his move list is way to short.
Gotenks Super Saiyan
Galatic Donut- should be a favorite technique .
Gotenks Super Saiyan 3
Super Battle Bomber- move he used where there were like 10 ghosts surrounding Buu and he sent them flying at him.

well half of the ideas are quoted from people on this forum. I took some from my brother too he seemed a bit disapointed in the game because of vegeta having too many seperate forms, he thinks Vegeta should have one form and thought i'd be cool if you can turn super sayin in scouter form like in budakai 3.

I find that unecesary. Vegeta has that many forms to go along tih his transfromations. He obviously doesnt use SSJLv2 anymore so it wouldn't be right to have that transformation come before SSJ2. Which is the reason Super Vegeat Was not included in B3. Also Vegeta can't turn Oozru anymore so it also would not be correct. I say this:

Buu Saga Vegeta who can transform directly to Majin Vegeta (Like Gohan and saiyaman)

I agree with SSJGotenZ92, thats just way too many transformation's for one character. 3 Vegeta's could be okay, having post Majin Vegeta go ss, ss2, golden ape, and ss4. The Cell saga Vegeta could go ss, uss, then majin, but it sort of doesn't make sense. If they changed it to 2 vegeta's they would probably shaft some of his transformations, like budokai 3, so 3 would work okay, but I don't mind 4.

look SSJGOTENZ92. everyone only wants 2 vegetas. cause for 1 instant everyone wants to have all the vegtas to tranform ingame. vegeta, ssj, super vegta (cell saga), ssj2, majin vegeta, and then ssj4 vegeta instead of them all being in different characters, n having 2 train them all wit the evolution z.:eek: and the second vegeta should be the one wit the scouter. cause that 1 can change into the great ape. n there should only be 1 goku instead of putting them separate. goku and ssj4 goku should be in 1 character and it should be ingame transformation.:up:
also in bt2 whenever u reach max power and u press left, right ,up , down, and circle u teleport in the direction of the button u press. i was just thinkin that can u put that in bt3 but dont make us have to be in max power to do it cause its really frustrating trying to dodge a kamehemeha wave by pressing cicle rigth when it is about to hit u cause the results always doesnt come out the way u want it to be.

I agree with SSJGotenZ92, thats just way too many transformation's for one character. 3 Vegeta's could be okay, having post Majin Vegeta go ss, ss2, golden ape, and ss4. I do not think that is any serious issue. First you get the hair and the bulky muscles, then you turn into SSJ2 with powerful lightnings. I think people will notice the difference in strength and speed between those two ;)

OK, I can solve the Vegeta problem.
Vegeta (Base, SS1, USS, SS2, SS4m Great Ape, Gold Great Ape)
Equip "Babidi's Mind Control" on Vegeta to get Majin Vegeta.
While this item is equipped to Vegeta, his selection on the menu is Majin Vegeta, and he starts the battle as Majin Vegeta. Taking this item off will result in just the normal Vegeta.
Equip "Blutz Wave Amplifier" on Vegeta to enable him to transform to SS4.
Equipping this can let Vegeta go to SS4 because he could never do it by himself on the show.
Equip "Saiyan Tail" to Vegeta to give his model a tail. This enables him to look at the moon or his blutz ball and transform. Removing this item results in him losing his tail. This applies for all Saiyans who have the ability to transform at the full moon.
This will solve all the costume problems etc.

I disagree. You shouldn't have to equip all those items in order to get the transformation you want available. I will explain my setup below a bit better:
1 - Vegeta (Base, Oozaru)
2 - Vegeta (Base, SSJ, USSJ, SSJ2, SSJ4 + Majin, Golden Oozaru)
The first Vegeta is of course Saiyan Saga Vegeta. He should have the ability to turn into an oozaru whenever there is full moon. He is already stated to be in the game through screenshots, so no need to change on that. He does also have his unique set of moves that should be picked from the Saiyan, but also Namek Saga.
The second Vegeta is for the rest of the sagas. His moves in base form didn't change much during the series. The only thing important is that they do not make him able to turn into SSJ4 and such in Cell Saga etc. The "+" indicates that you will have to equip an item in order to get the form in battle. "Babidi's Mind Control" was the capsule used in Budokai 3, and I do also think this one should be in Tenkaichi 3. However, he should start in the Majin Vegeta form when the battle starts. Golden Oozaru won't be used that much as he is one of the main characters. Therefore I think it should only be the Blutz Wave item that should make him able to turn into Golden Oozaru.

yeah,when i first played T2 i wondered if you had to unlock his oozaru because it seems weird having oozarus for people you didnt c transform and not one for someone u did:D

No cutscene for the transformation. You know that sound when super saiyan happens...everyone should have that when they reach max power. super with the light coming out of their torso though...too much.
and oh man...I feel like using profanity...heavy crush doesn't knock them through the "totally destructable environment"
really takes the fun out of the combo.
The air combos are kind of dull. It is not cool that those and the dragon tornado must end the same... add a punishing attack variation...IMPROVISE

Here is some of my good idea :up:
When 2 characters dash at each other and when they collide a big crater forms underneath them
When you actually blow up the earth there is a mini game sequence that gives you 10 sec. to escape from earth and dash into space or another planet.
when you do a kamehameha wave it will actually push your opponent back instead of going through them.
Put craters in the ground
when your character powers up you actually change the environment: falling moutains, craters, trees and rock will float in the air.
When your opponent gets smashed into the ground it will leave a big or small crater from where you left off.
but i don't think that all that will be in bt3 .

LOL... i don't think so maybe on the next gen.
Here are my thoughts on gameplay:
- To be able to "equip" abilities for each transformation level. After all, lots of them are pre-built and generic style, like dragon rushes, or Favorite Techniques/Blast1 abilities. And be able to equip in L2 + left and right. And like in Budokai 3, if I would equip kamehameha 3 times, it would only do that but with far more damage power.
- Another thing I was thinking: respect the Super Saiyan limitants. This would give "true series feeling". As if for SS3 Goku, would lose ki like if using Magic Beast Yakon item because of it's transformation state. So the player would have to choose if having considerable more speed and damage, sacrificing the fact that he would have to be charging all the way, as for SSJ4 even worse. That way, picking a SSJ4 character is not a brutal abuse, because it has it's draw-backs. This could not apply in the Great Kaio's planet, respecting the series feeling.
- As for broly, he should have android-like eternal energy device in Legendary form... because that's who he is.
There should also be a "KAIO-KEN Goku". Which has no transformations, only Kaio-ken levels. This should be infinite (well, maybe 20 tops). Giving with each extra level:
- More speed
- More strength
- More blast2 damage
- Least need for blast 1 gauges
- More sensitive to damage
- Regarding fusions: To be like in the DBZ Budokai series: Only fusioned while MAX POWER level reached and during that time. Afterwards... back to split up. That way having Vegitto COULD be better than SSJ4 Gogeta depending on scenarios.
- Kid boo should be able to charge even if getting beated up by rush attacks... like in the series.
- Have a outter space level, with meteor rocks to destroy and stuff.
- Blast 2 charging techniques such as kamehameha or gallic gun should consume Ki insted of the "power gauge". THAT WAY if you are on MAX POWER MODE, you could charge ALL THE BLUE BAR PLUS ALL THE YELLOW BAR and cause MANIAC DAMAGE (proportionally to the time needed to gather the energy) Or maybe just the blue bar but with added damage because of the MAX POWER state. Clashing ki beams like 2 kamehamehas for ex. would consume ki regularly (like when pressing L2 during) If you are in max power, you could throw a very week kamehame but with much power to back it up and would make the game more estrategical.
- The idea of dodging punches and kicks form DBZ budokai series was a nice touch... could put it back.
- Have a build-up mode like in DBGT final bout from PS1, where you would level attacks or blast 2 depending on the usage along the building up course. This way you could have a common ground where a Yayirobe is 20 levels above a SSJ4 Gogeta AND WOULD CAUSE PROPORTIONAL DAMAGE. Because having a 100 level Yayirobe in previous games was no match for a 50 level SSJ4 Gogeta... let the players choice WHO SHOULD BE THE STRONGEST (I have my heart in Piccolo).
- Pay attention for bugs: In Tenkaichi 2 LOTS of items didn't work! Also Majin Boo + Gotenks Absorved would deliver the Ultimate blast from Gohan and Viceversa. Piccolo's death granade zone was EXCELLENT in tenkaichi 1... but something terribly wrong happend in tenkaichi 2. You could have the ki blasts swirling in circles faster and faster and then having each of them getting closer orderly so that the only way to evade is evading each blast or with a ki-shield.
- Blast 1 android barriers and blash shield should be able to grow and be more protective by the usage of ki, by simply pressing L2 during. This way, a really big android barrier could stop Ultimate Blast attacks.
- If you have the engine you could try making multiple players. You have the lock on system, so all you have to do is having some one else locking up on someone and the mayhem should begin. I am aware the difficulty of programing the character to block the attacks. You could maybe come up with a system of 2 types of lock on: atack, and look out for... or something... I'm just saying.
- Regarding the spirit bomb, it should be like in Tenkaichi 2 based on Blast 1. The more Blast 1 you use, the bigger the spirit bomb gets, and the more damaging it becomes. In my fantasy world You should leave pressed the B1 and only then the bomb will grow bigger and bigger. If you have certain ammount of ki you should be inmune to ki normal blasts (like Omega Shenron against kid DBGT goku)
- Use teleporting maps like in hyper dimension. For example, fighting on the ground, getting them up with dragon rush and end up in Kami's palace!, our in the ground and end up in some cavern... the limit is the sky.
- An endless map... I was thinking the time chamber, we don't care if it crashes or glitches, let us see the limits of the console's memory :P

i also think cutscenes should be more impressive. right now they look lame and cheesy. in the series when goku transformed into a ssj for the first time i felt a chill running down my spine. it gave me a feeling of YEAH!!! POWER!!! but the cutscenes in the tenkaichi series are just lame and lack story. in tenkaichi 1 you actually battled freeza 100% on normal namek. this was improved in bt 2 but it still not satisfieing. the cutscenes should be like in the budokai series.

guys reply to this post: Maybe for mercinary towe he should have 2 forms. one is his pink suit with no s word and then when he transforms he has no shirt and a sword. in the show this happens, he uses a capsule to get his sword so when you click to transform you should see him pull out the capsule and power up so his clothes rip off him.

Most of his moves don't have images but I gave him images for the ones we've seen already.
I think they could add an "Turn On/Off What if/DB AF features. This is really easy, they only need to assign "preference values" to Head, upper custome, lower custome, arms, legs, boots, gloves, colorskin. This way you could have 2 pottara fusion characters fusioned by dance and so on. If it annoys you... just turn of the $%&/( feature :)
