Many reviews about silverfall are negative, although I think the people that reviewed it didn't really give it a chance, but I did.
Some comments made in the reviews mentioned that melee characters suck and they continue to suck until you are able to get Lycanthropy.
From my experience after rolling several characters Lycanthropy is indeed good, but it ain't all that good.
I rolled a character to be melee and the best racials found for melee was in a Troll, I also went in the way of Technology as the items are more attractive to me.
I ended up rolling a character that was ALOT better than the lycanthropy build i tried.
Just go full berserker mode and don't bother with weapon specialty until the very end, so ur able to just wear whatever nice weapons u pick up..
Berserker stance will give u weapon speed and damage power, but will **** up your accuracy, losing a total of 30% at the max level, but being a troll he has a racial that adds 50% accuracy so in the end I had 20% more accuracy, I don't look like a ****ty ugly ass were-whatever and DPS wise I'm dealing way more damage and is a very enjoyable character to play I find he's stronger than ranger or mage templates.
Anyway that aside I do have some complaints about the game, support in general sucks, the patch for the game can't be found in the website u have to hunt for it on some weird ass patch specialty page of some sort. The game editor same thing u have to hunt it down at some weird page somewhere. The community sucks nobody is really developing any mods for the game even though it seems to be a moddable game like neverwinter, nobody has put any time or effort into the game that was community oriented. I think everyone that knows **** about modding and **** is doing it on their own coz no websites wanted to make a community for it.
This game could of been awesome but just the lack of intelligence from the makers I guess look at these ****ty forums they blow.
Anyway i hope eventually there's a community webpage and some real forums that don't have 99% complaints about how the game sucks will come by.
Man these forums suck, The website blows, get a real community going atari.
