Which, is quite a shame, as it looks quite awesome and revolutionary.

www.yourdayataltontowers.com (http://www.yourdayataltontowers.com) if anyone wants more info.

Would you buy it? Bearing in mind, that you can get 5 ORP's for the price of the DVD, OR for an On-ride vid, a single photo.

When I was last at t'Towers they were constantly handing out leaflets for this, there was construction work on the building it's going to be based in, and there were camera stands dotted around the park I managed to notice. Including one in Gloomy Wood, just above the shop exit...hmm...so does it film you wandering?

And on the coasters. You wear an RFID wristband, those white/coloured boxes on rides/near the cameras say to the cameras 'OOH LOOK AT HIM! ISN'T HE AN UGLY BUGGER!', they capture you on footage and put it on a DVD to remind you that you had a brill day.

Yeah, I mean the random wanderings, you see that could be hard. Imagine if there are, say, 20 people in the area all in different parts of that area. That camera stand looked as if it was pretty much focusing on one area and able to rotate.

I'm guessing it was for a Security Camera :p

Are you in some way affiliated with Towers Times, BTW?

Nah, the sensors are in the fence on your left as you approach GW and the camera was pointing to near them. :)

Ahhh, there you go then.

No, I'm affiliated with Themed Attractions (.com). Should have some Towers videos up soon.

All things being well, the thing should be up and running on the 25th. Although it's an all-or-nothing approach.

Hopefully, I'm there some day next week, so if I am, you may get a You-Tube video of me having an awesome time!

I've just come back from being at Alton Towers from the 24th to 26th and it still wasn't open (although £20 for a 20 minute video is really not worth it plainly as i'm not very animated on coasters anyway and I could get about 4 full games of extraordinary golf in for that amount:p) although there was a lot of flyers being handed out
