3. New Gameplay Features and Other Related Information
The information is entirely supported and provided by Wikipedia. Demonstrations of the gameplay features can be seen throughout the forums, or through the official Japanese Website: here (http://dbzs.jp/meteor/p_features/02.html) and here (http://dbzs.jp/meteor/p_features/03.html).
Gameplay Features - Word Explanations
Blast Combo: Players can now kick their opponent into the air and attack them again by quickly teleporting behind them. For example, if the player selects Goku, they can kick their opponent into the air, use Instant Transmission to quickly warp behind them while still being sent upwards, and use his Kamehameha to deal more damage to the opponent.
Sonic Sway: This technique simply allows the player to evade the opponent’s attacks, as it takes longer for the attacker to get back into their guarding stance than it does for the player dodging the attacks; the attacker is thereby left with an open defense. The one evading can then quickly counter-attack their opponent. However, this feature only applies to physical attacks aimed for the upper part of the body; if the opponent aims for the player's legs, you cannot evade the attack.
Z-Counter: This ability can only be used in close combat. When the opponent tries to attack, you can teleport behind him/her and counter-attack. However, be aware of that the opponent can Z-Counter back on your own Z-Counter: So that a chain of Z-Counters is possible.
Z-Burst Dash: An enhanced version of the dash attack from the previous game, this time the player can zig-zag to dodge attacks or surprise the enemy.
Night and Day System: The addition of a day and night system creates a better connection to the original manga by allowing certain transformations to occur under specific conditions. At night, players can harness the power of the moon to transform into certain characters, such as turning a Saiyan into a Great Ape.
Battle Replay Feature: By adding a new Battle Replay mode, players can now capture all of their favorite battles and watch them again later on. There are also several camera angles you can swap between. For an instance, you can choose to view the battle from your opponent's perspective. This allows you to see how the opponent really thinks and fights.
Story Mode Alterations:
Enhanced Wii Controls: The Wii version does no longer use the sensor bar to control your character. The game will instead use gestures built into the Wii Remote. A little animation at the bottom left corner of the screen will also demonstrate how to perform the various techniques smoothly.
Story Mode: The new Story Mode of BT3, called “Dragon History”, will feature a new turn in terms of gameplay. During the actual gameplay, quotes will appear at the bottom of the screen. The outcome of these will depend on the battle itself. Immediately, this will result in what-if scenarios all the way through Dragon History mode.
Online: Please note that this feature covers the Wii version only. People can play against each other online, on a nationwide basis. Not too much information revealed about this feature yet.
Disc Fusion Swaps: While the Nintendo Wii version gets online, the PlayStation 2 version will instead get the “Disc Fusion” system; by inserting the disc(s) from the earlier Budokai Tenkaichi games, exclusive modes will be unlocked. Again, this is a PS2 exclusive feature.

SSJ5Vegeta's Words
When I first left the Atari Forums, I did sort of get the feeling of not being very appreciated by the new members. This is mostly because of that I have had a very skeptical and critical attitude towards Spike as a developing company. I understand that many of you hold this against me. But that is truly not my intention at all. I do respect Spike a lot. I got some of their other games, but the Budokai Tenkaichi series is in fact my favorite of them all. So please do not think that I hold a grudge against Spike. I am just interested in pointing out the differences and similarities between Spike, Dimps and others. Criticism is all a major part of it. Criticism is the most valuable form of feedback after all:) Oh well, thank you for your time!
