Who is buying Tenkaichi 3 for PS2?

My opinion is that I would rather just buy a PS3 and get Tenkaichi 3 for it because my PS2 sometimes takes a while for the screen to pop up because I don't think it could hold more then 1 more guy and Tenkaichi 3 has much more people.:confused:

B3 is still the greatest.:cool: BT3 might be good, looks like we have a dark/cloudy mountains area. Some heavy rain wouldn't be a miss aswell.:) Infact, a weather change option would be cool don't you think? Even if a B4 came I would like a weather change option. The weather of a stage can change alot of stuff.

I am actually still playing the Game coz I have not unlocked all of the Characters yet. Plus it is still very entertaining.

Looks like I may cop this Game (as a big Fan) & hope the next one will be for the PS3 (if they are working on it that is).

P.S- Does anyone know an easy way to unlock the Warriors (instead of having to play the Story over & over again)? It is tiring & boring!

No, after a few weeks I've sold the game because of it's lack of gameplay. Seriously I thought after Bt1 that it would be much better but the system was pretty much the same, just more chars. The whole controlling your character is messed up, the char you play reacts too slow on what you want him to do during a battle. The controlls are too unstable, there should be a hell more combo's & the A.I. should be much better. I say this depite I am a DBZ fan, a year ago; I thought Graphics mattered all but after playing BT2, I realised that Gameplay >>>>>>>>>> Graphics by ten volt! Also the Transformations were pretty poor made, there is a cut scene comming when you transform...
And what the hell is wrong with Goku when he goes ssj for the first time? Not even a single emotion, he just turns into a SSJ as if he already controlled it. It's lame.

We know there are now 2 Wii DBZ games, from what Mr. Clay told us in the interview there is a PS3 title in the makings, which I think is going to be an entirely different franchise of game, we know NTL is looking for a developer with MMO experience to develop and MMO for the Xbox360 and the only game NTL has ever made so far is DBO. So I think its safe to say all next gen consoles will get Dragon Ball love. Smart move BandaiNamco!

I probably won't get this game, for the simple fact I don't have a PS2 or a WII. Just a 360. I think the reason why they switched it to PS2 from PS3, is because not too many people have a PS3, and a much wider variety have PS2. So that probably explains that situation.

Secondly, the scans always look better then the actual game. We learned that last year with BT2.

I am excited for those of you getting it though. :up:

What I think they might do is, release it on PS2, then release the platinum version for both PS2/PS3.

That way they save a little time, and money in the process.

Well of course it would be better, since the capacity is way better.

As far as sale wise, it wouldn't be as good if they did it on PS3, instead of PS2.

Not a lot of people have PS3 consoles, so they are thinking they will just sit on the shelves.

That's why I think, that if PS3s sell quicker, the platinum version will be released on the PS3 console. They are just not sure enough about the PS3, so they made the decision to go with the PS2 one more time.

Well they definatly wont do this for those of us in North America. Seriously, the only other "platinum" version of a DBZ game we got was the greatest hits DBZ Budokai 3, with the new cover and some other stuff.

So just get BT3 on PS2 or Wii because theres a LARGE chance it wont be re-released with additional content.

Every single Dragon Ball Z game will be improved, only by more selctions of moves and characters. The gameplay still stays the same, the interface and the graphics

In other words, just hire it from the local video shop and play with the 20 extra characters and 20 extra moves, you'll get bored in 2 days, then you'll know what i mean.

Well depending on the amount of information i get on Tenkaichi 3 within these few months I am uncertain if i will be obtaining Tenkaichi 3. Don't get me wrong I love dbz and i've been a fan for so long but Tenkaichi 2 wasn't much of a step up following after Tenkaichi 1. The controls weren't that intuitive, story mode was just nice and long but the exploring idea didn't really help whatsoever, and cutscenes could've been done a lot better (just look at Budokai 1 and you'll se what i mean), and really there just wasn't enough content to satisfy my dbz needs. :p I may or may not get this game on the first day and i am going to have to see if i'm offically getting the game for the PS2 or this game may just be a rental.

You don't want to rush into a game, what happens if it's no better than the rest it just has slightly better graphics and a couple more moves and characters.

Of course I'm getting it. I have a PS2, so it looks like it will be on that. However if they are making a PS3 version, then I'll wait a little bit and get that because I'll be getting a PS3 at the end of the year approx.

Well the BT2 Wii version did not look as good on the Wii because it was basically a rehashed version of the PS2 version. Third party game developers did not get the blueprints of the Wii until August and the Wii version was rushed. But now that have more time BT3 will look several times better than BT2 on the Wii.

oh yeah! definately! ps3 will now be costing $500.00 TOPS thats A HUGE improvement. so i think a hella lot more people will have ps3 by the end of da year:up: which means donny clay will indefinately make more dbz games for da ps3 since a lot more people will have it.

Isn't the maximum resolution on PS2 the same as on the Wii?

I dont think so. I believe the PS2 can only put out 480p in opposed to the Wii's 720p. But I dont know for sure so I'll do a little research and get back to you.

O.K. correction. The Wii's resolution is 480(progressive) or (interlaced) but I could not find the PS2's resolution specifications. If the game is designed for a interlaced screen then that would definetly make it look better if you had an HDTV.

Its most likely it will come out for both systems at the same time, same can be said for Japan as well. By the looks of it they are developing the two simultaneously so it is likely they will be indentical games this time around. Unless the Wii gets minigames specifically made for it.

You got that right.Mostly PS2 has the same controler as PS3,so it is would be good on both consoles.

It wouldnt work with the Wii Remote or with the Nun-chuck attached. You would have to bust out the good old Wii Classic remote. Actually it could work but it would be akward.

I mgith though because the first time I played t2 it was a memory to remember. I was with my little bro and friend. we all just thought it sucked because of the intro but the game was cool.
