I just don't get it, King Cold didn't show any attacks he could do; it would look weird to see him in the game fighting like Frieza... Especially since Cooler has unique attacks aswell & fights differently then Frieza...

My little brother told me about that yesterday. Now there's absolutely no reason for me not to play PS2 games, specifically these games, on our PS3. I believe this is update 1.8. 2.0 is what supposebly will allow custom soundtracks like the Xbox 360, so I get to play my entire Bruce Faulconer collection while I play BT2/3. :D

The same thing happened last year with T2, lets all be pacient and wait 25/26 days until the new V-Jump is out.

In other words, no reason to get a ps3 right now unless you are either a sony fanboy, or just HAPPEN to have almost a grand to fork over for the console and accessories.

No offense intended, I just dont like it when people assume that everyone is going to love the ps3 in a short time.

(Personally, i would go out and buy one right now if it was worth it, but its just not right now)

I am sure that people will have to move on to the next gen console; we had that with the Playstation aswell. The PS2 was expensive but now the PS2 is a must have console nowdays and almost everyone has it.

Yes but this game Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is going to be released in like maybe 3 quarter of a year so it isn't that suprising to already develop a Dragonball Z/GT game for the PS3, you agree on that?

One) There are good games for the PS2, but you can play those ps2 games on the PS3 aswell.

Two) They already lowered the PS3's price, they will probably go lower but seriously when you think about what goods you get for that low amount of price, it's kinda cheap.

Actually it is, just a matter of saving money.

Just save up for the PS3, you'll have to get it one day anyway so why not right away? you can still play ps2 games on the ps3, it is practical logic.

With other words, you don't need to be a sony fanboy or anything like that; it has to do with how good you can safe money for a much better console.

No offense taken, but you have to understand that people do love the PS3 once they play the games on it.

Console Versions
Well, in my opinion it would be better if they did release it for PS3:downcast: The PS2 is not capable of bringing forth the ultimate DBZ game, many had expected. I think it should be for the PS3 and Wii in first place. Then they could make a watered down version for the PS2. That would have been a lot better.

It seems like they are just playing it safe, and thinking of the console war situation we have today. They should rather think about the future, where PS3 might become more popular and sell better. After all, having it for PS3 and Wii nearly guarantees a great Next-Gen DBZ game, and the PS2 owners could get it as well:D

I don't post for like, two months after mastering BT2, and suddenly now there's a BT3 (like I always hoped there'd be).

DANG. And the graphics DO look improved - take a look at Super Saiyan Goku's new hairdo!!! O_O

As far as the powering-up auras go, however - I'd definitely hope they improved on it. Rather than squatting down, taking 2 seconds to yell, and powering up, you should just be able to go YA!! and start, even if they're standing.

We didn't see any of his other forms in the anime, so I doubt we will see one in the game.

They had two previous attempts B1 and B2. Trust me, these guys are idiots. They need me to practically make the games for them. We don't know much about him. For all we know, he could have been a swordsman back in his day. The way he seemed to adore Trunks' sword and the way he said that it was high quality makes me think that he might have had a good knowledge of swords. But still. Since they didn't show him use a sword in the anime, he shouldn't use one in the game.

why can't Atari just make this game a freeromer? It would be better. For example: you could start out on a planet, and you could go all around the planet and do what ever you want. Another thing is, You could go out into space and fight. There would be other planets you could travel to and fight. Oh, and you should be able to destroy planets. You know like in the previous games, you only destroy the area, but in this game, you could destroy the whole planet. Its like somthing Broly would do. If they included all of what I've said, BT 3 would be a better game. I'm tired of being limited to a number of levels. I want a big free roamer. I'm not talking aboud DBz sagas either. That game was a piece of ****.:pout: But what I'm saying is, BT 3 needs to be more opened out. For example: You could go to capsule corp and get a ship, and go to another planet light years away, or if you were goku, you could warp to different planets. I'm sure a lot of people would agree with what I've said. But I do think they should have like a classic mode, where it would be the original game play from the other games.

fans throw out ideas and what they wanna see, sometimes the info is passed on to the devs and they use the ideas if they are good enough, im sure most of the time they use their own ideas, but if they do something cause of fans wanting it bad enough and it actually being a usable idea.. that does not mean its all thanks to YOU..

dont act all high and mighty cause ideas you, and hundreds of others, thought of actually made it into the game.

but man, that screenshot at the top of this page looks sweet and the graphics i must say, are at it's best because dbz is a 2D anime, not a 3D cartoon so the fact that the graphics make it look 3D but also gives a 2D anime feeling at the same time, is just great.
