Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 combines the lightning fast fighting and action that have made Budokai Tenkaichi 1 and Budokai Tenkaichi 2 the #1 fighting games of 2005 and 2006. Developed by NAMCO BANDAI Games Inc. / Spike, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is slated to release during the 2007 holiday season.



Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 delivers an extreme 3D fighting experience, improving upon last year’s game with over 150 playable characters, enhanced fighting techniques, beautifully refined effects and shading techniques, making each character's effects more realistic, and over 20 battle stages. In addition, an improved control system for the Wii will allow players to easily mimic signature moves and execute devastating energy attacks as they are performed in the Dragon Ball Z animated series.

In addition to the unprecedented number of characters and improved Wii control system, the environments have also been enhanced to feature day and night stages. Ahhh the moon! So that will be the way Kid Goku transforms into his ape form now.
As beforehand I had only seen the Kid Goku moon pic and not the Bardock one. So that pretty much confirms it. Awesome!

Yeah, I know that might be why. But he doesn't actually have a sword as his own. So it is kind of odd that he has one. Oh well. Doesn't exactly ruin the game.

Dude i can't wait for this game and I'm really glad that they added the moon lighting effect for Saiyans who transform into a Oozaru. :D

Yes thats exactly why. Otherwise I wouldn't know of any of his uses without the sword because he never had any battles.

Its bad enough that he's in the game because he's completely useless and will have a really basic boring MS. Unless they make him a funny ultimate blast??

King Cold is cool in the game but not with a sword! give him the sword only in a special rush. not normal, its not his sword

look its not about that, with Nail, we have every importand character from the Namek saga till the Frieza saga.

with King Cold, we have the Full Future Trunks saga complete.

Create a Character is not that hard to make.
Listen on ps2 smackdown vs raw 2007 create a char mode was in incredible.
Since next Dbz game is next gen, its that hard to pull of.

Why does everyone seem to think that Create-A-Character is a gigantic leap in the evolution of the game? Games like Wrestlemania for the N64 had create-a-character.

I think that we'd have a lot more happy folks if rather than adding more new characters, Spike would actually focus on C-A-C.
