Old school monster (mixed questions)

Ok I dont really know how im going to start this......but who would like to see more of the old school monster in the game like Varen, Gorosuarus, Gabera, Manda...ect. I ask this beacsue it seems not alot of people like em. I constantly here stuff like there boreing or stupid(like JJ for example) Just because they dont have any powers(or much powers in Gaberas case) doesint mean they will suck. I bet you if atari really wanted to they could replace powers with stats for some of the monsters. for example Gorosuarus has no beam attack so that can be replaced with better speed and better defence or attack, they could even have it so he does his kangaroo kick when you press the beam botton and the longer you hold it the more powerful it gets (like a charge)

Im not saying everybody dislikes these monsters it just seems the majority does and I just want to know what other people think about all this? im not angry ethier just a little dissopointed because I grew up with alot of these monsters and to be honest I would pick the older monster over some of the newer monster anyday......not that I dont like the newer monsters because I like all the toho monsters I dont have a problem with any of them.

You bring up some good points and I totally agree with you but unfortunaly those monsters like gabara won't make it in.

some of the older kaiju aren't as famous and non-godzilla fans are going to be like

"what is that hideous blue cat-like animal and why does it have a horn on its head"

or

"when did the kangaroo mate with a dinosaur"

the above es solo un broma(just a joke) so dont take it seriously;)

but for real i dont think they are going to go in because they dont have that many attacks or that they are not "A list monsters"

yeah I hear what ya saying and dont worry about jokes and stuff I know alot of you guys on hear are a bunch of funny cats. Im a pretty laid back person and respectable when its comes to other peoples opinions and that all makes sence, sucks though.

I like a lot of the old school monsters. It would be cool if more were in the game. The problem is though,they are not that popular and most of them do not have a beam or projectile weapon...which would be a problem.

Sure, they could manufacture a beam for some of them, but it would be far easier to include a monster with a ready made beam. I'm sure Toho would also have to approve any alterations to their characters which would probably be time consuming going back and forth trying to get approval. That's my thoughts.

Of the ones that you listed, Varan probably has the best chance of getting in, though he isn't guaranteed. It would be nice to see all of the kaiju but, with licensing fees, Pipeworks probably wouldn't be willing to include all of them. Hmmm....the licensing fees on most of the ones that you mentioned can't be that high though (not like Godzilla, Mothra, KG, Anguirus, and Rodan anyway).

Well for starters could you visualize what Gabara may look like on a 3-D polygon representation? That would look weird to me, especially compared to the newer Godzilla monsters. Manda got a remake over, so he looks better (from the Final Wars film), but take it that the Show suits would look bizzare in a modern game. Just my 2 cents.

You also have to consider that in order to choose the monster for the game, it has to pass 4 rules. Some can be bent or maybe one could be missing, for example, on rule is all monsters must have unique fighting styles, another, all must have a projectile/ranged weapon. There are two others but i can't think of them right now. Gvamp or Chris should know them better.
