I started a new set containing terrain-blocks in different sizes and forms, to make landsaping easier (or possible at places where normal landscaping is not possible, for example because of attractions) There are mainly quarter-tile and perhaps even 1/16-tile pieces.
I'll post pictures, when the first pieces are imported. 16 pieces are already modelled, they will be imported as soon as possible.

Wishes, if they make sense and if I can do them, will be added, of course.

A little note: I had the idea before LittleMac made this set (http://www.vodhin.net/RCT3Community/download.php?view.509), or before I knew of this. So it isn't a copy, but will supplement this well, I hope.

So, here's the first picture (http://www.LupiUpload.de/080727/CFTYkIbB.jpg). Currently, there are 24 objects, many more are planned. There aren't 24 pobjects on the picture, because most of the pieces have 2 or more versions to fit every place.

Hehehe!

Hopefully they will work better than mine! Good Luck!

At the moment they are working quite good. Your ones are great, too. Some ideas, like the tunnel and the quarter, half and angled full block, I wanted to do, are already made by you, so I don't have to make these again. That means less work for me^^ ;)

i hope that the side and the topp are going to be the same texture as the ground :D

and , i also hope they have quarter tile placing :D

errt
06-23-2007, 06:22 AM
Of course both - they match the ground and side texture automatically and are all 1/4-tile placing.

You appear to be doing a lot more than me!

I don't know if you want to but another idea that i had was to do curved ones so it conceals the majority of railway tracks, but not to much so that you can still see the main rails. (But not the wooden planks)

That way your railway can instantly become a tram, a lot like DasMatze's tobogan kit!

There will be curved pieces, I think, but I don't think I will make such small covers. But let's see what the future brings. Perhaps I'll do so^^

Here's the next picture. Click here ;) (http://www.LupiUpload.de/080728/GVIzWot.jpg)

There are pieces for every size to build a hill from one flat piece, 4 angled pieces and 4 diagonal angled pieces, plus a flat diagonal piece and and a diagonal piece, which is angled the other way round. That are 63 pieces at the moment. 4 of them aren't on the picture, from others only 1 version.

Thanks for the many nice answers^^ and sorry for the doubble-post, but I have a question:
Do you want the set with 4 heights (1H, 2H, 3H & 4H) and 436 pieces in unknown time or in 2 heights (1H & 2H) and 218 pieces, perhaps this week already? (You can build steep passages by using smaller pieces, although)

I'd like the two different heights, we can make a 4H by satcking two 2H's on top of eachother... right?

errt
06-25-2007, 10:27 AM
Not exactly^^ Right for the flat pieces, not for the angled. But you can take two half pieces 2H, one behind and lower than the other to make a 4H. But with 4H pieces you could make a 1tile-16high hill with 1/4 Quarter pieces^^

^^Well then I got to be his neighbor to.;)

Nice set. Are the pieces texture alligned(or wahtever it's called) with the ground or can you choose wich texture you want them to be?

errt
07-24-2007, 04:25 PM
The texture is like the terrain blocks that come with the game.

shoot...I was really hoping you'd do a standard terrain block...that doesn't change with the ground texture. I just need a default terrain block that doesn't change.

errt
07-25-2007, 05:34 AM
That's not possible. Well... possible, but difficult ;)

errt, this is a real useful set, especially for the railroad train if it smooths that out on climbs & descents but I was wondering....

another problem is not with climbs and decents but with path pieces..

ok there is a set that has cosmetic pieces meant to create a smooth curved pathway, but maybe just for, say, a 3x3 area (3x3 referring to the squares within the gridlines).

I think aceana had made them and I have suggested making them for larger areas of, say 8x8, 12x12 & 16x16 to make a smooth edged round circular path for around a lake or large fountain but I haven't seen any projects come about as a result.

I specifically would like these pieces to either create or see created a rendering of WDW's world showcase but im sure it would have plenty of other uses.

could you make these pieces cause I don't think anyone else is doing them

Sorry, I don't really understand what you mean. Could you make a pic?
