graphic problam: purple items

swords and shields dont have the original texture.. instead they appear in purple..
does anyone have the same problam?
what can i do?...

that fix didnt work for me. but unpacking all high textures from dvd again solved it.

The files on DVD are zipped if i recall corectly. So just unzip the files you need. Sadly iam at work so i cant tell step by step sorry.

Other way would be uninstall and install again phew. ZZzz...

Kiwi-hawk, are you talking about extracting texture files so they can be moded and reinserted into the game?
TEXMOD work with Silverfall, if that is what you desire. Tombraiderrub has it and tutorials (the tutorials are gearde toward the Tomb Raider games). Note: some anti-virus programs detect TEXMOD as a virus, but if you get it from a trusted source like tombraiderhub you'll be okay.

I'm after fixing the ingame graphic's so that bits of the game don't show as purple or white

It's bad enough I brought the game while I'm here on holiday in Thailand and the manual is all Thai so I can't read how to take potions and other **** that might stop me dieing as much while fighting with the interface, but having parts of the game not being textured is just to much crap

If I can fix the graphics I might try find an English version of the manual but at this point I'm thinking of throwing it in

Try going into DXDIAG and lowering the graphics settings there
