FAQ or Guide

Hi all I'm new to the game and was wondering if there is a guide for the quest and/or a character FAQ for this game?

Also everytime I start I get the error msg "Failedformaterror" in a box then the game loads fine, not sure if an issue or not

I would suggest using the search engine on the forums. Myself and others have posted a list of Quests and NPCs that can join you. Remember you can only have 2 with you at a time.

As for character development, I experimented with it for a couple of months before settling on one character to complete the game with.

Know this: the game is rigged so the Technology tree is more beneficial then the Nature tree.

I'm with hordolur. Is there a walkthru for this game? Surely with as many people as have played it somebody must have one or be working on one. Is there a commercially published strategy guide?

I honestly don't know what purpose a walkthru would serve. It is a fairly simple game: Kill things and take their stuff. Everything is covered in the tutorial and the in game tips.
And no, there isn't a commercially published strategy guide.

Why I'd like a walk thru: I was planning on doing a mod, and wanted to fairly quickly complete the game so I'd know what's in it.
