View Full Version : Play to Win

When I play online, I play for one reason and one reason only.
To win!
I find the most effective strategy to win and abuse it to death. I find the best characters and use them to win and if anyone has a problem with that, thats something they have to deal wit. But I do stick to the rules however, if there are any rules. I play fair but play to win. Win at all costs, even if it means using characters I hate.
Anyone else have this mindset?
Oh no, no, I'm going to play to lose!
In all seriousness, though, I'm going to play for fun because I'll probably suck at the Wii version. :p

No you dont T2 controls are easier than T3 and I mastered T2 on the Wii. I didn't think I would be successful either.

:haha:
I'll probably be a wall to get through. I'm too fast and furious and don't let you do anything unless I need to charge up. I rarely ever use my B2's unless I see an opportunity to (which is rare). So, in short, don't think you can win'em all! :p

Its just that you make it sound like your playin with a ps2 controller. Ownage is a lil different and difficult. I mean its possible to completly anilate someone, but its not gonna be as brutal as playin with a ps2 controller.

Oh trust me, it is brutal. Because of how close the A and B buttons are on the Wii remote it's really easy to combo somebody and be able to change my charging punch to break their guard. On the PS2 controller, I couldn't do crap, I sucked at it. I'm wayyyyyyy better with the Wii remote, I feel the speed with that control set up.
PS2, I don't feel much speed at all...=\
So yeah, you can own with the Wii controller too it just takes tons of practice.

I know, that's why I only play BT2 now with friends (and I did once I beat the game and leveled everyone up). I always beat them of course. :p (And one uses the Gamecube controller but still loses, but we have pretty close matches :p).

The BT3 Wii controls have been improved greatly... I don't think it will be any different or harder owning on Wii than it is on PS2.. Mr Donny Clay himself claimed to be better on Wii now than on PS2 :)

Playing with the sole intent of winning just makes the inevitable losses hurt that much more. You're better off just playing for fun.
