CS Problems

Im new to making CS with google sketchup, and all I have made so far is many test walls and test cubes. You can only see one side of the walls, and you can only see the outside of the cubes. On the bad side of the walls and the inside of the cubes it just appears to be nothing. Any ideas?

When you add the textures in the importer, you can select 'ds' (double-sided).

Well, if the face is purple, you can't see it. If it's white you can. If you're doing a flat piece, like a picture, then do what Wabigbear said.
