Converting .rar files??

Plz tell me I do not need Win Rar.

Ok...put you STILL need something capable of openinga .rar file. If you don't want WinRar (why not?), do a Google search and you'll find several products that can open a .rar file

There are a multitude of compression and extraction programs out there, WinRar and WinZip being the two most popular. (Both now support .rar and .zip files too). You'd have to look up any others and see if they can extract .rar format (I think a couple people on here do use some others for it).

Yeah if you do not like Win RAR then you need to get 7zip. This program is free and is very versitile.
