I am making a cs set and am in the step where I start impoting. before Ido that I need to say:
I am using sketch up and freely makin the object without paying attention to sise, once you make the object can you change the size in the importer.
cause I am not sure if it they will come out in the wanted sises. can you change the sises on sketch up?
here is an example pic of one of my cs items.

Looks nice Waffles, but you may want to use more textures to help cut down on the faces in the button and lettering. Keep up the good work. Sorry I can't answer your question, but thought i should at least add some constrcutive ideas.

You can use the Scale tool in Sketchup.

Why create two threads on the same problem? There's enough clutter in this forum already. Read the stickies.

It's a picture of about the 5,682nd drinking fountain I've seen in the Custom Scenery forum.

Complete with about a zillion poly's for the 3d word "PUSH" on the button, and a zillion more making up the intricate drainage tray. You're not missing anything... unless you really, really like lag.
