You need to make the texture 512x512.

You can resize it in Paint, and set the measurements to pixels.
Remember, your image also has to be a .BMP file for it to work properly.

I thought .PNG worked for impoting too. I've impotted a few things with .PNG. Hmm, lemme try impoting something.

PNG also works. The image needs to be a square that uses the power if 2...so 64X64, 128X128, 256X256, or 512X512. Try to use the largests sizes for textures that require a lot of detail...use the smaller sizes for lesser details. If it's just a color you could go even with a 2X2 size..remember: the bigger the size, the bigger the file size too. You resize a texture using any graphics program...even Paint. You can select the file type using any graphics program...again even Paint.
This information is readily available in the tutorials. Since you still asked about it here...and the other three threads on the same thing you have going, I can only assume you haven't bothered to put forth any effort to even read them.
People are perfectly willing to help, but this is something really basic that's fully covered in several sources. The tools are there for you...

PNG's are the best. 64X64 is big enough for basic colors and shapes.

I name it then go to file and click on the 3 dots I look for my exported Google Earth (*kmz) 3d modle from sketchup and it does not show up anywhere! is there a step that I skipped?

Read! All your questions are answered by numerous CS guides out there that are very clear. Yes, the importer is not self explanatory, and jonwil's old guide to the importer was completely useless, now there are MANY tutorials that anybody can use as long as they can read. If these problems, which 95% of CS creators get around flawlessly first time, continue cropping up, then CS creation ain't for you.
Oh yes, and you simply need to download Belgabor's ASE export script for blender(EDIT: Sketchup, sorry), which if you use it correctly (somehow I doubt it) you'll get an ASE file that can be imported.

Reading is fundamental.

But there is a export script for sketchup, too, so download it!
