I, msdavis13man, have created CS! I attempted to create a wooden bench (How original) and it worked! Sadly, I have two problems, I bet you could tell by this picture:

1. It's on it's side, and 2, it's facing the wrong way. Help!

go to settings in importer and I believe fix orientation? That should fix it being updaid down.

You need to change the Translation Matrix when you're importing. Try MirrorZ to start, and then move to MirrorY if it is still not cooperating. Make sure you have the placement set to Path Inner/Outer, or it will not sit right.

that is a positioning issue, in the importer when you are applying textures, there is a grid to the left. click on the edit button, and in the area that says 'special' click the 'fix orientation' button. delete the selection in the box that says 'default matrix'. select the new phrase and click the 'default' button in the 'special' area. now all your items should be oriented correctly. i look forward to seeing your CS!

Depends on what modeler you used. Fix orientation applies to Blender and Sketchup (and others) and Mirror Z is for Milkshape.

Well I can tell you right now that ATH is correct that is the only way to fix objects that are on their sides.

I tried to do the fix orienteering thing. It didn't work! By the way, surfing oz, I used your tutorial site to do it.

^ lol erm, there's 2 ways:

1. Rotate it around in the app you made it in.

2. The mirror z is the other option BUT I've never had to use that.

Good luck :)
