Yeah, we already have one but this one is being separated by genre.

While I think this is a TERRIFIC idea, and I hope it would be either added to the "entire CS list" original post, or stickied itself...

...did you need to post a thread announcing that a thread will be coming soon? There's so much noise in this forum lately.. stuff like this is NOT helping. Just wait next time, please.

I will use this list to tell it is open to. I will be using Freewebs first. To see if it is worth getting a better website.

Wouldn't it be better to offer to help out those who have already been putting a lot of effort into maintaining the CURRENT CS list? It's a thankless job, I'm sure they would welcome the offer to help out, it really doesn't make any sense at all to have multiple lists...why not offer to help improve the one we have if you think it's lacking something?

And just what do you mean by genre? What the designer says the set was for, or what you say? What's that based on? Not saying it's a bad idea, but some of it's subjective and would like to know what you are basing this on.

By Genere I mean Like

"Lighting"

"Ride Supports"

"Rocks"

"Disney"

"Misc"

For a example all the sets seperated.

What about helping assign a number of keywords to every set and having a search feature that uses them?

That would be ideal, Smallish.

For example... just yesterday I wanted to know every set that had anything to do with snow. That's a long process to find by checking out each set. A keyword based system would be amazing.

That's a great idea, and it would be very handy. I still think this needs to be a part of the current list and not a seperate new one.

Yeah I think they should all have keywords because many can fall in multiple categories. Like a lot of sets have lights as well as another category. But as wagi said it should be used to add on to the original.
