hey everyone, new cs maker here! :)
i have made a 4m height wall with Google sketch up, .1m thickness, and my texture only appears hundreds of times on the very top. how do i stretch the texture and put it on every face of the wall?

When you import and place a texture on a face, you then need to right click your mouse on it and select 'position'. You'll see multiple versions of the texture. One of them will have four push-pins on it's corners. Use the pushpins to stretch the texture to fit the face. Once you have it where you want it, move two of the push pins and 'pin' the texture in place. Then go onto your next face by using the paintbucket to paint your texture onto it. Again right click and select 'position' and use the push pins to move the texture into place as you did on the first face. Once you do it a time or two you'll catch on.

Has nothing to do with the importer. You are using Sketchup, correct? Place the texture on the face you are working on in Sketchup, click on the texture you just placed, then right click your mouse to open the menu, select position.
The importer needs instructions from you as to where and how the texture should appear on your object. You set up those instructions in Sketchup by positioning your texture there.

i figured that out from surfingoz, TY anyway, but the texture in the importer shows up instead of the one in sketchup

Yes, but you have to do what Wagi said to tell Sketchup to 'UV' map the image so that when you replace with your importer texture the importer texture is correctly placed on your model.
