But all of them are not just normal vending machines, they actually work!:D

Didn't somebody already do this? I want to say they made the vending machines as objects then you have to place an "invisible" vendor inside to dispense the drinks. Sound familiar anybody?

Yep, there is a coke machine in my Really Generic Stall Set, but the texture is slightly different.

This Set isn't like that. It is entirely in one piece and doesn't need a vendor to be placed in it.

ok, go to My computer, what ever drive you use, in my case c: then program files, atari, rollercoastertycoon3, style, themed then unzip file there.
i think you must also have soaked...i think

All u need to fix is the people bacwards then the r perfect

lol it is funny before u place the machines u can see a worker inside then when u place it the machine becomes solid so it is like a worker got stuck in the macine and no 1 can see him lol

and i just noticed that the peeps r holding the drinks before the push the button

edit: the slots for the drink to come out of on the sprite and the water 1s arnt there

I love these machines and just used them in my Wonderland Water Park (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5M6PPj9vwc) (1:09-1:14). Being that they can actually be used as a vendor stall is extremely helpful and cool to watch a peep go up and get a drink from them.

hmmm....quite wierd, i've never had this happen to me before, ummm maybe uninstall and then reinstall. if this doesn't work then maybe a technical guru can help because I don't know how to work my own file it has been so long since I opened the ACTUAL file :confused:

This isn't a vending machine, but i would be cool if you could make them - photo booths.
Sunscreen vending machines. Different brands of sunscreen are vended.
And another one that isn't a vending machine - you know that you can get those walk in dryers in swimming pools? Yeah that'd be cool if you could make them.

I'm having a problem. :(

I placed a Pepsi machine in the second career game (Goldrush!), and when I went to open it up, it said I couldn't open a stall that doesn't sell anything!

What's going on? :bulb:

Note:
I have Vanilla, with no expansion packs. Does this have anything to do with it?

You have to go to the settings for the stall and select what to sell. It doesn't automatically sell drinks. You could sell sunglasses out of it if you wanted (but I would suggest drinks).

You should put a face with a plane color, try white, and make the ovl in importer v18, and set it as siglass. that should make it more realsitc, having glass in front of the snacks.

Next time I go to Knott's, I'll get you some reference picture for a candy machine that serves chilled candy, and a picture for an Amp machine.

it shouldn't i didn't have any expansion tags put onto it

thank you for that idea, i will try to set everything up again from scratch in the new importer so i can get the glass to work. need to experiment with that process first though.

Well bad news, I have become bogged down in school work so I haven't toched this set (or my RCT3 computer) for over a week now so no updates, but keep coming up with ideas and post some pictures of what you have done with this set as it encourages me to see other people doing sweet things with my work.
If I am motivated enough and have a break from school and my very busy social life I will hopefully work diligently on this this weekend.

i worked on it but i need to rotate the effect points so that the peeps don't have their backs facing it, and the texture was reversed and really blurry. :bulb:

So I did work on it for awhile just to no avail...:sour:

I'm having trouble installing this. Do I need any sets? The only problem is that it isn't showing up under stalls or any other category it can be in.

Do I just put the .zip inside the themes folder? Or do I extract it and put the extracted folders in the themes folder? OR do I extract the actual files and have them stand alone in the themes folder?


I know this is an old thread but, I am just baffled.
